Elections Have Consequences

Dearly beloved, what a difference a vote can make! I thank God that He elected us in Christ.

We are, “elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.” God, our Father is the one in charge of our heavenly party. He determined the platform by the good pleasure of His will, and He made the outcomes available to us in Christ so that we can stand and walk in these realities.

We are the elect of God and we can put on the what He stands for; “holy and beloved bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.”

When the adversary the devil goes low, we live up to who we are in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God even our Father; knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.”

Our Father elected us, meaning He chose us, He preferred, He selected us in Christ.

Blessed is God even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a living hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead people, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through believing unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Yes, dearly beloved, our election is according to the purpose of God, not by our works, but of Him that called us, and it will stand!

At this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace; if it is by grace, then it is no more of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. Israel knew the election in Christ but only a remnant believed it. What then? What Israel seeks, it has not obtained, but the election have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

In Christ, those who confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him out from among the dead people are saved, they are one body, they are joint heirs, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the gospel whether they were from Israel or from Gentiles according to the flesh.

Beloved, we are in Christ. God had the prophet write, “Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on Him shall not be confounded.”

The Lord Jesus Christ was God’s elect, and we are elect in him. We were called out of darkness into His marvelous light. In past times we were not a people, but in Christ we are now the people of God, which had not obtained mercy, but now we have obtained mercy.

Rejoice, and thank God for the outcome of our election in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are now the elect of God, dearly beloved.

Live abundantly and reign in life in him. Elections do have consequences. Enjoy the consequences of our election in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Never forget, you are His dearly beloved and you are highly favored in His sight.
