It's No Longer a Secret
Dearly beloved Jews and Gentiles, we made it! Thanks to the grace of God we are now members of the body of Christ! We are fellow citizens with the saints. We are one new man through Christ and we have access by one spirit unto the Father. We are God’s habitations.
We are fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus by the good news of God’s Word. Rejoice forevermore!
Had the so-called god of this world known this mystery, he would never have crucified the Lord of glory. Now we all have the spirit of Christ in us and we can do the works that Christ did and greater.
All in Christ are identified with him in his accomplishments; as a matter of fact we are as he is, God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works, that therein we should walk.
The only thing we have not yet received is to be glorified together with Christ, but God speaks of it in the past tense to emphasize how certain that reality is. We will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
As great as what we have today is, the reality for which we were saved lies in the ages to come; we will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him. It will take the Father the ages to come to demonstrate the exceeding riches of His grace to us in Christ and He will show them to us with loving kindness and tender mercies as our Father.
As great as Christ was when he was on earth, it pales by comparison to who he is at the right hand of God today. The same is true for us. Our identification will not be complete until he gathers us together in the air, gives us glorious bodies like his, and we reign with him forever.
Today is shaping up to be a pretty good day, isn’t it? Press for the finish line, dearly beloved, for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus; who knows it could be today. Live like it will be.
Never forget, you are the apple of God’s eye, His inheritance. You are what He gets out of the deal. He loves you and will never forsake you dear one; you are His dearly beloved. It is God in Christ in you and God loves us as much as He did Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. Now he is the firstborn among many brethren; rejoice!!
We will one day be with him and behold his glory and he will be glorified in us. Until then, live love, walk with by the spirit, and with believing.
What began in grace will end in glory for us, dearly beloved, and the glory is just over the horizon; he is coming! Rejoice forevermore and live in thanksgiving for His great love for us.
