Practice the Presence of God
Dearly beloved of God, God is Light and there is no darkness in Him. God is not a liar. His Word, like Him, is light, and it is the Word of Truth. We can trust what He says in His Word.
He says what He means, and He means what He says, but at times we are tempted to not believe Him. For example, He says that we are justified, and when we are born again we have the remission of sins that are past. He chooses to remember them no more, dearly beloved.
Have you ever brought up your past sins to yourself? Have you ever thought to yourself that you were not worthy of God’s forgiveness? Maybe you haven’t, but I have.
In spite of the revelation that God is Light and there is no darkness in Him we fail to believe the light of His Word at times. We need to grow in the truth that God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
God reveals that Jesus Christ bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we were healed. Have you ever doubted that you were healed by the stripes laid on Jesus Christ. Don’t fall for the temptation to doubt God. He does not lie. We need to grow in the truth that God is light and in there is no darkness in Him.
Have you ever thought that God would not do for you what He has done for others? We fail to realize that the people God delivered in the Bible were just like us. God is not a respecter of persons. What He has done for one, He will do for any and all of us. He is Light, and there is no darkness in Him. We can cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us: He means what He says.
Dearly beloved, we should not fall for the temptation to doubt God. He is able and willing to forgive us, to heal us, to deliver us at every turn. What He has done for one, He will do for all of us; He is not a respecter of persons.
He is the LORD that is present. He is near us, not far off. In fact we are born of the spirit from God, and He has afforded us access to Him; He is God our Father. He tells us that we are His habitation, His dwelling place by the spirit. Now that truly is close, is it not?
God our Father is not only with us, He is for us, and He will never leave us, nor ever, ever forsake us. We never have to be afraid, because He is our God, He is with us, and He is for us.
Furthermore, we have the proof of these wonderful truths every time we choose to speak in tongues. The spirit from God witnesses to our inner being that we are His children, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ. We can speak with Him any time we like, and He hears us.
Since He is present, we should practice the presence of God in our lives. We can be confident that He is present, and accessible to us, and that He is with us and for us. We can communicate with Him, and He with us. In fact, nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
Since God is present and accessible to us we should practice the presence of God. We should pray having confidence that He not only hears our prayers, but we have the petitions we desire of Him. we need never doubt it.
We should walk in the light as children of light. We should walk by believing what He reveals to us. We should think according to the measure He has revealed for our believing. We should live as more than conquerors because God is present, and He is not only with us, He is for us.
We should practice the presence of God in our lives, dearly beloved, not the presence of the adversary. Many are more cognizant of the adversary’s presence, and his workings than they are of God’s presence, and His workings to deliver them.
Our minds should not be filled with anxiety, worry, doubts, and fears because of situations and circumstances orchestrated by the adversary. The adversary twists the Word of God in an effort to use it against us; don't buy it! God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him.
If anyone teaches anything contrary to what God reveals in the gospel of God concerning Christ, it does not come from the One True and Living God.
Do not be deceived by the old serpent's craftiness so that your mind is corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. Satan acts like an angel of light, but he is darkness. He is a liar, and there is no truth in him.
God our Father is present. He is accessible to us. He is able and willing to perform His Word in our lives. He is with us, and He is for us. He is our sufficiency in all things, all the time. We should practice the presence of God, dearly beloved. No good thing will He withhold from them walk with Him. He works for our good in all things.
Not only is God Who He says He is; we are who God says we are; we are His dearly beloved kids. We have what He says we have. We can do what He says we can do.
He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in Christ. By Christ’s accomplishments, and by God’s grace to us in Christ we are justified, forgiven, holy and without blame before Him, unimpeachable and highly favored in His sight.
We are the children of God, and of His household, born of His spirit, and we have been given access into the kingdom of God by His beloved Son. We are sealed for eternal life, and to receive the inheritance that is in Christ Jesus. We will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Dearly beloved of God, God is Light and there is no darkness in Him. He does not change, nor does His Will concerning us change like the phases of the changing moon.
We ought to believe what He tells us, and not fall for the temptation to doubt anything He says. He is not a liar. We ought to believe Him, and practice His presence in our life. He is God our Father, dearly beloved.
