Incorruptible Seed
Dearly beloved of God, when we were born again we were born of incorruptible seed, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.
The seed of our natural birth of the flesh is corruptible. That seed is mortal, and we can lose that life.
The seed of the new birth is incorruptible seed. First of all, the Word of God says that it is “seed.” A seed produces after its kind. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.
You cannot lose a seed. You cannot sin it away. Your behavior cannot corrupt the seed of the new birth. It is incorruptible. In fact, there is nothing you can do to undo what God did when you were born again. It is incorruptible.
God sent Jesus Christ to send the promise of the Father, which is the spirit from God, and he sent it in the form of being born again of incorruptible seed. Nothing on our part can corrupt that seed.
Jesus Christ became a life giving spirit, Christ in you, the hope of glory. God sealed us with His spirit, and we became the children of God. He set us apart as His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ.
In the new birth we are complete in Christ, who is the head of all principality and power. God our Father blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.
God made Christ the head of the Church, which is his body, and He filled every member of his body with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm; it is all of them in all of us. Even if you were a wart on the bottom of the little toe, as a member of his body you are complete in Christ, and filled with all in all.
Nothing we do, or fail to do after we are born again can corrupt what God did in Christ in the new birth. It is incorruptible seed.
God our Father showed us such great grace that whether we are awake spiritually in our walks, or we are asleep at the switch in our walks, we will live together with Christ when He sends him to gather us up to meet him in the air. You cannot undo it; it is incorruptible seed.
Dearly beloved, we may neglect that which is born in us by incorruptible seed, but we cannot lose it. We may do things contrary to the good pleasure of the Father’s will, but those things cannot corrupt that seed. We may choose not to mature as a child of God, but that cannot corrupt that which is born within us. You cannot sin away the spirit of sonship; it is incorruptible seed.
We are born again of the spirit from God. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory. His spirit witnesses to our spirit that we are God’s children by the new birth. We are His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ. We are born of incorruptible seed.
What God did in Christ was done by the good pleasure of His Will. He sent His Son to do what we could not do for ourselves. Then the Father freely gave us all things with His beloved Son by His wonderful grace.
In Christ, and by his accomplishments we are saved, redeemed, washed, justified, righteous, sanctified, and glorified. In Christ we are holy and without blame before Him, and unimpeachable in His sight. We are members of God's household, and have access to the Father by the spirit of sonship. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, and when he returns to gather us together we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Dearly beloved, we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus. We should be filled with joy every day we draw breath, and be so thankful for God’s love and grace toward us in Christ Jesus. We are born of incorruptible seed!
God our Father has shown us His loving kindness and tender mercies in Christ Jesus. After showing us such great grace and mercy and love, who would not want to walk with Him?
We are born of incorruptible seed, dearly beloved. Rejoice forevermore!
