Who Now Lives?
Dearly beloved of God, the Apostle Paul wrote by revelation, "I was crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by believing concerning the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Who now lives? It is no longer “I,” the man of the flesh, the natural man having only a body and soul nature that lives; now Christ lives in me. Christ became a life-giving spirit, and now the spirit of Christ lives in you. That is who now lives.
Beloved, it is Christ in you, the hope of glory! This is not my opinion, my doctrine, or my opinion; this is revelation from God our Father to His dearly beloved children.
God declares that Christ now lives in us, and the life we now live in the flesh, we live by believing concerning the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us.
We have this treasure in earthen vessels so that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things passed away; behold, new things have come, and all of the new things are from God.
We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus on the basis of good works that God prepared for the Christ to do so that we may walk in his accomplishments.
God has given each and every one of us grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Beloved, each and every one of us received the same measure. Every one of God’s children has the same rights, the same new birth privileges, the same spiritual ability, and the same inheritance of glory.
Dearly beloved, God our Father has freely given us all things with Christ from the newness of life we received in the new birth, to the new bodies and eternal life we will receive when he returns for us, to the new heavens and earth in which we will live in the ages to come.
Dearly beloved, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm!
We are completely, completely, completely, absolutely complete in Christ. We are completely filled in Christ who is the head of all principality and power.
All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in the mystery of God concerning Christ. This being so, it might be worth our consideration and believing.
As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him. Walk in the complete new birth reality, dearly beloved. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory. It is no longer you who live, but Christ lives in you!
Thank God for the riches of His grace that He has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord, and for the exceeding riches of His grace that He will display in kindness to us in Christ Jesus in the ages to come.
