Has He Changed His Mind?

Dearly beloved of God our Father, God is the same as He was in the beginning. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Isaiah 46:9 and 10: “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”

God says He is God; there is none else. He says that He revealed the end from the beginning, and what He said will stand.

Ephesians 1: 9 and 10: "Having made known unto us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself; that in the administration of the fulness of times He might bring all things together under on head in the Christ, that is, the things in heaven and the things upon the earth in him [the Christ]."

He hasn’t changed His mind, He has explained even more about it to us. It was His good pleasure to reveal what was before the mystery of His will to us. The fullness of times draws closer and closer.

Ephesians 3: 8-11: The Apostle Paul wrote, “To me, who am less than the least of all holy [sanctified] ones, was this grace given to proclaim the gospel regarding the untraceable riches of Christ to the Gentiles and to enlighten all people regarding what is the administration of the mystery (which has been hidden from the ages in God, Who created all things) so that through the Church the multifarious wisdom of God could now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realm in accordance with the purpose of the ages, which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Instead of changing His mind, He revealed secret things that He formerly kept to Himself concerning “the purpose of the ages”.

He tells us [Ephesians 4:30] we are sealed for the day of redemption, the day that He will send Christ to redeem those that he purchased with his life. Oh, rejoice, dearly beloved. We have the Word of the Lord about it.

“We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not precede them which are asleep [dead]. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive, and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” I Thessalonians 4:15-18

There is more that will take place after we are gathered together unto to the Lord in the air. Everything He has said will be fulfilled as He purposed. He tells us about the Day of the Lord and the wrath of God that he will pour out on the ungodly.

Rejoice beloved, we have been saved, delivered from the wrath to come. Our end is salvation, redemption, everlasting life, rest, and glory. The Lord Jesus Christ will fulfill the purpose of the ages!

I Corinthians 15:24-28: “Then comes the end, when he [the Lord Jesus Christ] shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he [the Lord Jesus Christ] must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For He [God] hath put all things under his [Jesus Christ’s] feet. But when He [God] saith all things are put under him [the Lord Jesus Christ], it is manifest that He [God] is excepted, which did put all things under him [the Lord Jesus Christ]. And, when all things shall be subdued unto him [the Lord Jesus Christ], then shall the Son [Jesus Christ] himself be subject unto Him [God] that put all things under him [the Son], that God may be all in all.”

After this second heaven and earth, there will be a new one. “I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the former heaven and the former earth passed away, and the sea is no longer.” Revelation 21:1

“And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me Write: for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21: 5

God hasn’t changed, nor has He changed His mind about anything He has said. As He has purposed, so shall it be. “My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.”

He told us the end from the beginning, dearly beloved, and His words are true and faithful.

“Now the God of [the] hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in [the] hope, through the power of [from] the Holy Spirit.” As He has said, so shall it be! Rejoice!!
