The Plain Truth

Dearly beloved of God, the plain truth is staring us in the face, but there is a force at work that is trying to eliminate it so that people do not know about it.

The plain truth is that God revealed Himself and His will to us by giving us His Word. The force that does not want us to know the truth is the so-called “god of this world”, who is the devil, or Satan. He does everything in his power to keep people from knowing and believing this plain truth.

The Word of God is to Christianity what the Constitution is to the United States of America. The Constitution is the document that governs our nation. It defines our rights and liberties. It stands above parties, personalities, would-be dictators, kings, and any other power that assaults our freedoms. The Constitution is the law of the land - not a person, or a party. As citizens we are ruled by this law. The Supreme Court was designed to protect the truth this document declares and thereby preserve our freedoms.

As Christians, the Word of God is our only rule for faith and practice: it is our constitution. God authored it, and holy men of God wrote it as He led them. It is God-breathed truth, and it is of no private interpretation. It says what it means and means what it says. It stands above the pope, denominations, religionists, televangelists, philosophers, human secularists; anyone who tries to usurp God’s authority and will.

Our nation's greatest enemies come from within and they attack our Constitution. They assert that it is a “living document”, meaning that they can change it and make “improvements” as they wish. If a person’s or party’s ideas and preferences replace the truths this document declares, that tyrant, not the rule of law, becomes the one with the power over us. They will then have the power to grant or deny our freedoms, and our rights will be subject to their whims. Our greatest enemies are from within, not without. If our nation does not survive it will be because of ignorant and apathetic citizens, and leaders who are self-serving cowards; not patriots who are willing to give their lives for our country.

Dearly beloved, the Word of God is our constitution. It declares our rights as sons of God and our liberty in Christ. It is the standard for truth for all the citizens of heaven, and it is the truth that makes us free. It is the sole governing document for the kingdom of God. It reveals God’s will to us. He gave us His Word for our believing practice.

The Word of God is the plain truth that opens the eyes of our understanding concerning spiritual matters. The Word of God is the Will of God. If God’s people are destroyed it is for a lack of knowledge of the Word and Will of God, and their failure to believe it. Our enemy is a wolf in sheep’s clothing that makes every effort to kill, steal, and destroy us.

Satan wants to blind the eyes of our understanding so that we do not see the glorious gospel of Christ. He is the one that works to replace what God did in Christ to save us, and freely give us spiritual ability, rights, and privileges, with the dictates of organizations (headed by him) that keep us ignorant, in bondage, and under his power.

We are not of this world, dearly beloved. We are citizens of the heavenlies. God is our Father, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and His Word is our only rule for our believing practice.
Our adversary is the serpent, who is called the devil and Satan. He is the same one that seduced Eve. His mantra today is, “Did God really say?” the same as it was in the garden. He says that his word “will improve” on God’s Word. He is the Liar and the Deceiver!

God’s Word is true and faithful, and every word of it will come to pass as He promises. Know your rights and stand on them; it is your life. This is the plain truth, dearly beloved.
