Walking With Him

Dearly beloved of God, when we were born again of God’s spirit it established a relationship with God.

God became our Father when we were born of His spirit. We became His children, and now we are members of His family. The spirit of sonship endued us with power from on high. The spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead now dwells in us!

In His planning beforehand, He determined that all His children would be conformed to the image of His Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. God’s children are in Christ, conformed to his image (he became a life-giving spirit), and members of his body.

In Christ, we are justified, righteous, redeemed, and sanctified. We are complete in him, and blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in him. It is all in all of us. Our Father freely gives us all things with Christ. We will even be glorified together with him.

Nothing in this birth is contingent on us; God planned for it, and the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished it making it available to anyone that confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead. Such great grace!

All of this is true whether the saved one knows it or not. It is true whether the person lives in light of this truth or not. Our sonship and standing before God is as His children and it is in Christ.

Beloved, the secret to manifesting the more abundant life that is ours in Christ is by aligning our thinking and believing with our Father’s revelation concerning who we are in Christ. We must renew our minds to who we are in Christ if we are to be victorious in our earth walks. Until we decide to believe it, the power we received in the new birth remains dormant, and the practical reality of being more than conquerors remains elusive.

The God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Father, does not possess or use people as channels. He does not overstep our freedom of will. He enabled us by the complete reality of the new birth, and He expects us to walk in it by believing. We walk by believing, not by sight.

He enabled us in the new birth, and beloved, He expects us to walk with Him by believing what He says. It pleases Him when we believe Him. He wants us to walk in the complete reality of our sonship. As His children, He desires that we walk in the ability, the rights, and the privileges that are ours in Christ.

When we align our thinking, believing, and our will with His will, our walk with Him will be vital, dynamic, and vigorous, and we will be confident. He will work in us to will and to do of His good pleasure, and the potential spiritual power we received in the new birth will become active, dynamic, kinetic power.

All that we are as sons of God is in Christ. This is the measure that God has given us to believe. As we do, we will be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we may prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God in our lives

Sonship is God’s permanent relationship with us. It is solely dependent on the accomplished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Father instructs us to walk in the sonship realities that are ours in Christ. If we will believe His revelation concerning who we are in Christ we will have confidence towards him. Walk with Him, dearly beloved. This is His will concerning us.
