Heirs of Salvation
Dearly beloved of God, if we have confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead we shall be saved. That moment we were born again of the spirit from God, and we are His children, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ. We are the heirs of salvation.
Salvation includes current realities and future realities. Today we have sonship rights, privileges as the children of God, and spiritual ability that enables us to operate the nine manifestations of holy spirit.
We are justified, forgiven, and made the righteousness of God in Christ.
We are redeemed from sin and death, and sanctified by the spirit. Now we are holy, and without blame, and unimpeachable in God’s sight.
We have access to God as our Father by the spirit, and He encourages us to come to Him boldly and with confidence. We have peace with God.
We stand in God’s grace, and we are highly favored in His sight, and dearly beloved by Him.
God our Father blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm, and He freely gives us all things with His beloved Son.
We are complete in Christ Jesus, filled with all in all.
These are a few of the current realities of salvation, and because we are heirs of salvation there are future realities we have as an inheritance.
When we heard and believed the gospel of our salvation we were sealed with that holy spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession.
God has promised us this inheritance, and His Word is beyond reproach. Not only that, He has sealed us with His spirit as a token of what is to come. The spirit from God witnesses to our inner being that we are God’s children, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ whenever we wish to speak in tongues.
We will be glorified, and acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. We will jointly inherit what Christ inherits, and we have been saved from the wrath to come.
Dearly beloved, we have a living hope and an inheritance that is incorruptible, undefiled, that fades not away, and it is reserved for us in heaven, who are kept by the power of God unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. We are heirs of salvation!
Now we are the sons of God, and when he appears to gather us up to him, we will be with the Lord forever, and we will never be separated from him.
Not only will we be with him, we will be like him; we will have glorious bodies like his glorious body. We will be conformed to the image of God’s firstborn Son.
Dearly beloved, it will take God the ages to come to show us the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus. We will not only be gathered together, we will have eternal life, and live in the new heavens and new earth in the presence of our Lord, and God our Father.
We have an inheritance that is incorruptible, undefiled, that will not fade away, reserved in heaven for us, and which is ready to be revealed in the last time.
The Lord Jesus Christ did the work to accomplish all of this, and by the grace of God we received all that he accomplished as the heirs of salvation.
He that began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Knowing these things is only a glimpse of the glory that is yet to come. When he comes it will be an astonishing event, but it will only be the opening event of the ages to come! Rejoice forevermore, we are the heirs of salvation!
