Treasure and Sufficiency
Dearly beloved of God, the Lord has become a life giving spirit, Christ in you the hope of glory, and where the spirit from the Lord is there is liberty. So as we all with unveiled face behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, we are all transfigured into the same image from glory to glory even as by the spirit of the Lord.
We have this treasure in earthen vessels so that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us.
We have trust through Christ toward God, not that we are sufficient of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. Our Father wants us to be absolutely confident that He is our sufficiency.
We may be troubled on every side, but not distressed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; knocked down, but not destroyed.
Dearly beloved, we have the spirit from Him that raised Christ from the dead dwelling in us!
We have the excellency of the power of God living in us. Our sufficiency has nothing to do with the resources of our flesh.
We can deal with whatever the adversary throws at us by the power of God that dwells in us. He is our sufficiency. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. When we are weak in ourselves, we are strong because of His power that lives in us.
Rejoice dearly beloved, we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus our Lord who loved us.
This was God’s idea, and it is His will. He is able and willing to work in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Our flesh may be weak, but not the spirit from God that lives in us. We have the spirit from Him that raised Christ from the dead living in us. Have confidence in Him. Believe it, dearly beloved.
God our Father is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that works in us. He is willing to energize His power in our lives today, and provide us with everlasting life when Christ returns.
He wants us to know the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe according to the working of His mighty power that He energized in Christ when He raised him from the dead and set him at His own right hand in the heavenly realm.
Dearly beloved, we are God’s dwelling place by the spirit. That spirit is the spirit of sonship, and it gives us access to God our Father.
Our sufficiency is of God, dearly beloved. He is all the resource we will ever need. What more could we ask?
God our Father is for us and with us, and He will never leave us, nor ever, ever forsake us. He makes us sufficient in all things all the time so that regardless we what we may face we are not alone.
We are who God says we are, we have what God says we have, and we can do all things He says we can do through Christ who strengthens us.
Rejoice, dearly beloved for the great grace God has shown us in Christ Jesus.
Today we have the glory of the new birth, and when Christ returns we will be transformed to be like him, and we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is coming; rejoice forevermore!
