Draw Near with Confidence

Dearly beloved, are your circumstances dire? Take heart! Our God is the One Living and True God and He is faithful to His Word. Draw near to Him. He is faithful that promised. He is your Delivering Father.

We are in Christ, and he is seated at His Father’s right hand in the heavenly realm far above all principality, power, might, and dominion, every name that is named in this age and in the coming ages. God has put all things under his feet, and He made him the head over all things to the Church, which is his body, the fullness of him, and fills every one of us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in him. We are seated there in him.

The Lord Christ Jesus made the gift of holy spirit available once again. Since you are born of His spirit, you have access to the Father. Draw near unto the throne of grace, that you may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers. Go to your Father, He will not desert you; you are His dearly beloved.

This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us: and if we know that He hear us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. That’s the good pleasure of His will. He doesn’t need convincing; we do. Persuade yourself with His Word.

Do you condemn yourself? Beloved, God is greater than your heart, and He knows all things. You are of the truth. Assure your heart with His Word; persuade yourself that you are who He says you are in Christ; you are His highly favored and dearly beloved child. Beloved, be confident that you are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them. You are His saint now!

Our God is the Living God; He sees and hears your prayers, and when we have confidence towards Him, whatsoever we ask of Him, we receive because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. This is His commandment: believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another as He said.

He desires that we approach Him boldly with confidence and speak freely with Him: you are in Christ! He justified you in Christ. You stand before Him in Christ. He seated you before Him in Christ. You will be glorified in Christ. You are in Christ, beloved! Believe it and draw near Him with confidence.

You are complete in Christ; the spirit of Him that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you. You are His habitation by the spirit. Use your access and draw near with believing confidence. Trust to perform His Word. Nothing is too hard for Him, not even your circumstances.

Perhaps read Hebrews 11, and look up the records of how God delivered these saints in their dire circumstances. He cares for you just as much as He did them, dearly beloved. He will even deliver us from the grave if we fall asleep before Christ returns for us. He will fulfill every word of His promise to His beloved.

Don’t be anxious or disturbed about anything; but in everything by prayer making specific requests with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus…even in dire circumstances like yours, dearly beloved. Draw near to Him with confidence.
