Thank You

Dearly beloved, I want to thank each of you for your kind notes and glad tidings that you took the time to send me on my birthday; they truly blessed me. Yesterday was like a taste of the gathering together for me.

It will be such a wonderful day when we are all together for eternity with completely healed minds, hearts and emotions, new bodies, spiritual bodies like our Lord's glorified body which are no longer subject to death; eternal life.

The fulfillment of that for which we hope will begin when God sends His Son to save and redeem us from this evil world or from death itself if it has overtaken us.

The dead in Christ will rise first, then we which are alive and remain unto his coming will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with and like our Lord.

We will be glorified together with Christ! Oh, such comfort, such joy, but this will only be the opening event of eternity for us! Many other events will follow and we will see them all come to pass as God has promised.

We will live together in the presence of God and His Son and under their watchful care and love forever. As David said, we will walk in the path of life and have fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore at His right hand.

We will see the Lord Christ Jesus subdue every enemy and make them his footstool. The King of Righteousness will reign and carry out his dominion over the heavens and the inhabited earth.

Later on, we will witness firsthand when God makes all things new again. We will live in a new heaven and new earth wherein dwells righteousness; not devilishness. God will provide a new environment for His beloved family.

We will see the paradise of God, the tree of life and living waters flow out of His throne on earth; all will be very good indeed. The creation will be delivered from the bondage of corruption the same as we who are the sons of God will be delivered.

What will it be like to wake up and not have to strive against sin? We will not only be delivered from the condemnation and guilt of sin as we are today in Christ; we will be delivered from the presence of sin! We will be as Christ is, beloved!

We will no longer have to deal with the adversary and his minions. The King of kings and Lord of lords will crush him under his feet with a grinding action quickly. He will be locked away in a spiritual prison for 1000 years.

Afterwards, he will be released briefly and he will deceive the nations once again, but he will meet his final judgment and the Lord will carry out his sentence along with those who followed him. They will be cast into the lake of fire. We will witness their sentence when it is carried out. Oh such joy!

Only the righteous in Christ will inherit the goodness of God forever and ever. Christ Jesus our Lord will be glorified in his saints and admired in all that believe in him. None of those who reject him will not see his glory, only destruction. They will not partake of the glory of his power or live in the beauty of his presence. Oh what a day that will be for God's dearly beloved!

"And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him." All of it is coming as surely as you are reading this letter.

I so look forward to that day, as I know you do. It keeps me going and restores my soul. Until then, I pray that we may continue to grow in the grace of God that is ours in Christ and in the love of God for us. You are so dearly beloved by them; never forget it.

We are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, dearly beloved. The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed to us. If it be that we have suffered, so shall we be absolutely glorified together with Christ.

The anchor of the hope we have in Christ will hold us in these tempest tossed seas and times of speculation and doubt that drown so many. Christ Jesus our Lord is our lighthouse in the midst of the storm.

Keep lookin' at the Lord, he will carry you through all the troubles of this world until that day.

Remember, there is nothing good that your Father will withhold from you; He will freely give you all things with Christ. He works for your good in every situation. You are not alone; He will always be there for you because you are His dearly beloved child.

Have as happy a day as I had on my birthday! Until then, live love and do those things that are pleasing in His sight! I love you.
