God Makes a Way

Dearly beloved of God, when you are between a rock and a hard place, God will make a way for you where there is no way.

The Lord Jesus Christ called Paul. He made him his apostle. The Lord gave him the revelation he proclaimed. He directed his paths and led him. Jesus Christ was his Lord and he served him faithfully. Paul was who he was by grace, not because of his past religious training, his religious standing, or his own works.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave Paul the gospel he preached. He did not receive it from mankind, neither was he taught it in Hebrew schools; he received it by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:1-11 explains how he received the gospel.

Acts 26:15 and 16: “And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee.”

The Lord Jesus Christ gave Paul the revelation of the gospel concerning his accomplishments that you read of from the epistle of Romans to II Thessalonians. The Lord told Paul why he gave him these words.

Acts 26:18: “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”

The Lord Jesus Christ sent Paul with the revelation he gave Paul in order to open their eyes, and to turn them from the power of Satan unto God. There is no other gospel that does this.

The adversary uses his power to oppress people. God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ use power to deliver people from the oppression of the devil, forgive them of their sins, give them an inheritance of eternal life, and set them apart as His beloved.

Satan opposed Paul throughout his ministry. He sent his messengers to buffet him. If you will read II Corinthians 11, you will see who these messengers of Satan were. The Lord Jesus Christ delivered Paul from his attacks.

The same Lord that made a way for Paul will make a way for you when there is none to be seen with human eyes.

God has always made a way for His people. The history of God’s people is a record of the manifestation of His miraculous power to deliver them. Think about how He delivered Noah, Abraham, Gideon, Moses, Joshua, and Hezekiah when there was no way; He raised Jesus Christ from the dead!

He delivered Paul “in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by his own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.”

The same God, our Father, will make a way for us when there is no way.

Whether the adversary orchestrates situations that afflict us with vice-like mental pressures (tribulation), or he sets up extremely distressing situations that put us between a rock and a hard place (distress), or our enemies constantly hound us (persecution), or whether we are destitute and suffer severe lack at times (famine or nakedness), or whether we are hit head-on with dangerous situations designed by the adversary to paralyze us with fear (peril), or if we are the victims of the cutting words of character assassination by the accuser and his sycophants, or whether we face death itself (sword), NOTHING can separate us from the love of Christ; we are his beloved!

Beloved, He is our sufficiency. He is constantly distracted for our needs; His eyes are ever upon His saints and His ears open to our prayers. Go to Him; He will make a way for you where there was no way; you are His dearly beloved saint.
