Dearly Beloved

What Do You See?
Dearly beloved of God, the Word of God is our only rule for faith and practice. The Word of God reveals the Will of God. Every last word of it is “God-breathed,” and He gave it for our profit. God does not want us ignorant of spiritual matters; He wants the eyes of understanding enlightened.
God would have all people to be saved and to come unto a knowledge of the truth. The old serpent, the devil, does not want people saved, nor to come to a knowledge of the truth. He blinds people’s eyes, he deceives them with his lies, and leads them away from the One True and Living God.
God has given us a choice; we can believe Him, or believe the lies of this evil age. How do we discern between the truth and the lies? We take everything we hear back to God’s Word and hear what God says about it. God reveals the way He wants us to believe. The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God.
Dearly beloved of God, learn to think and to say what God says about you, not what your feelings say, not what your circumstances tell you, not what others say about you; learn to think and say what God thinks about you. His Word reveals the good pleasure of His Will concerning you.
God our Father desires that we know and understand what He did for us in Christ, and who we are in him. He is not holding back on us. He has already revealed the information to us. It stands written so that any and all can know His Will. For starters read Romans 3:20-5:11, and chapter 8. Read Ephesians 1 through chapter 3; just read them! What do you see?
Jesus asked his critics, “Have you not read that which was spoken to you by God?” Then he would quote them what God said; he took God seriously: he took Him at His Word. He said that the Word of God could not be broken; that was why he was willing to lay his life down as the Lamb of God.
He told the tempter, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” He left us an example so that we can walk in his steps of believing God at His Word.
Fear not, dearly beloved. God is with you and for you; He will never leave you, or forsake you. He said so! He will deliver you from the things that make you afraid; go to Him. Our Father is a very present help in trouble. Fear not, nor be dismayed; He is with you and He will not fail you. Faint not!
Our paths are daunting at times. Fear not; God is with you, and He is for you. Believe it dearly beloved of God. He did not lie to us. He is true and faithful. Go to Him with your whole heart. Measure your dilemma by God’s power to deliver you from it, not by what your eyes can see. Our God is all powerful, and He is willing to deliver us. He is a present help in time of need; He says so!
If you want to be at peace believe what God says, not what the world says. Peace is an undisturbed state of believing. Instead of being afraid, be at peace. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
God is our shield and buckler. The LORD is the strength of your life; of whom will you fear? Trust Him with your life. Take up the shield of the right way of believing, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
Don’t take my word for it, dearly beloved, take God’s Word for these things. We do not even have to fear death. If we don’t have to fear death, what in life do we have to fear?
Jesus Christ paid for our sins and our sicknesses. He redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Sickness was part of that curse. He has borne our sickness, and carried our pains. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Jesus Christ paid for our sins and our sicknesses. It is finished.
He forgives all our sins, and heals all our diseases. He redeems our life from destruction, and He crowns us with His loving kindness, and tender mercies.
You are His dearly beloved child, and you are highly favored in His sight: He accepted you in Christ. Believe it. Give Him your undivided attention.
Elisha asked God to open his servants eyes when they found themselves surrounded by the Syrian army. He said, “Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.” Elijah prayed for God to open the young man’s eyes so he could see, and He did. He saw, “the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”
What do you see in your current situation? Do you see with your physical eyes, or do you see through God's eyes?
We do not have less resources than they had; we have more. God’s grace is sufficient for you, for His power is perfectly accomplished in weakness. “He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.” It is the truth, dearly beloved. Our God has not changed! What do you see?
