Dearly Beloved

It Makes a Difference
Dearly beloved of God, there is not one issue we face today that could not be understood and resolved if people would only recognize the authority of the Word of God, and look to the One True and Living God for deliverance.
God’s divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue, whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these we might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the world through lust.
We cannot go by personal experience as our standard for truth; not yours, mine, or anyone else’s. Sincerity is no guarantee for truth.
The Word of God must be our only rule for faith and practice if God is to give us spiritual understanding and wisdom and deliverance.
The scriptures were given by word of knowledge, and word of wisdom. They are revelation knowledge. The revelation God may give us in a specific situation will not contradict the revelation that God has already revealed in His Word; it will compliment it.
Do not think that our intellectual rejection of God’s Word can override God; it does not.
The devil is the deceiver, and he is the father of lies. He does not come out at first and reject the Word of God, he even quotes scripture as he did with Jesus in the temptations in the wilderness, but of course he will add words, or delete words, or change words.
His goal is cause people to doubt the integrity of God’s Word.
He will take scripture out of its context, and usually he will take truth concerning another administration of time as though it concerns this administration, and misapply it.
The adversary will corrupt the Word of God by degrading it a half-truth at a time until it is no longer God’s Word; it will be his lying word instead. He is the deceiver and he is a liar.
Remember, Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also are transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. These “teachers” are the ones that taught another gospel in the first century church.
What effect did their teaching have on the believers of their day? Their words got people to turn away from apostle Paul, and the gospel of God concerning the grace of God that God sent him to teach. Under his ministry all Asia heard the Word of God in three years and six months, and by the end of his lifetime all Asia had turned away from him, and the revelation knowledge that God sent him him to teach under His direction.
The words of those “teachers” subverted the hearers, and caused them to strive over words of no profit, and the believing of some was overthrown. It caused people to err concerning the truth, and then to reject the truth, and to turn their ears from the truth unto myths.
That is the effect that their teaching had on God’s people; oh, but what difference does that make? Wake up!
Dearly beloved, the Word of God will allow us to separate truth from error. We should be intimately familiar with the truth, then by comparison the adversary’s lies will stick out like a sore thumb.
God is light, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. There is no darkness in Him. We should be familiar with the Word and Will of God.
On the other hand, the adversary works in darkness, and he changes with the times and reconceals himself. He cannot be trusted.
There is so little truth taught in Christianity today that people grasp at straws hoping to find answers, and deliverance. Deliverance comes from the One True and Living God.
Beloved, speak the truth in love, but speak it. Don’t hide the light under a bushel basket; boldly speak it. Preach the Word!
God told Jeremiah to tell Israel: “My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” Jeremiah 2:13
God has not changed, dearly beloved; His Word is the the Word of Truth today as it was yesterday. Do not be deceived.
