Dearly Beloved

Confident in Him
Dearly beloved of God, you can be confident that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.
What is the day of Jesus Christ? It is mentioned in Philippians 1:10 and in 2:16. It is the day Christ will return to gather us up to him in the air. Philippians 3:14 refers to it as the high, or upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:20 and 21
For our conversation [citizenship] is in heaven, from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
You can add to these verses, I Corinthians 15:51-57, and I Thessalonians 4:15-18, which describe it.
II Thessalonians 2:1 says, “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him.”
What will happen in the day of Jesus Christ? It will be the day we obtain salvation and redemption. It will be the day we obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ we were sealed with the holy spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of His glory.
It is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
God our Father has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm; every last one of them. These spiritual blessings include all the rights, privileges, and ability that is ours in the new birth, and the future reality that we will inherit when Christ returns and gathers us up to him in the air.
I Corinthians 2:9 and 10
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Dearly beloved, our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. It will take our Father the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with glory which will be revealed in us. Rejoice!
When Christ appears the second time, it will not be to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Colossians 3: 1, 2, and 4
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on the things on the earth.
When Christ, Who is our life, shall appear , then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.
Oh, what a day the day of Jesus Christ will be! The dead in Christ will be raised, and those who are yet living will be changed, and together we will be gathered up to meet him in the air. We will never be separated from the Lord again, dearly beloved.
You can be confident that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ. Rejoice forevermore, and comfort yourself with these words! He is coming!
