Speak to me Father
Dearly beloved of God, our Father is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Say, “Abba [Father], Father.” His ears are open to our prayers. He is near; He is with us and for us.
When you read His Word, God your Father is speaking to you. Think of His Word in the first person when you read it.
Oh, speak to me Father. Lead me and direct my steps.
He says, “Trust in Me, the LORD, with all your heart, and do not lean to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Me, and I will direct your paths.”
I know I am not capable of directing my steps Father; speak to me.
God our Father says, “A man’s heart devises his way, but I, the LORD, direct his steps.” “In all your ways acknowledge Me, and I will direct your paths.” “I the LORD will establish your steps as you delight in My way.”
The Father says, “Oh, taste and see that I the Lord am good; Blessed are you that who trusts in Me. Oh, reverence Me, the LORD your God, my saint. There is no want to those who fear Him.”
Oh, speak to me Father and comfort my soul. “Cast all your cares upon Me, the Lord, and I will sustain you.” “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek Me, the LORD, shall not lack any good thing.” “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but I, the Lord will deliver you out of them all.”
“Come unto Me, all you when you are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” “They cried to Me, the LORD in their trouble, and I saved them from their distress.”
Do you feel all alone? Father, speak to me. “I the LORD am near to those who have a broken heart, and I save such as have a contrite spirit.” "I will never leave you; nor ever, ever will I forsake you.”
Father, I am afraid. Oh Father, open my ears that I might hear your voice. “I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” “Then they cried to Me, the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.” What time I am afraid I will trust in you!
Dearly beloved, our Father has spoken to us; take Him at His Word. We walk by believing in this evil world, not by sight.
