Besieged but More Than Conquerors

Dearly beloved of God, the Father has provided us with access to Him. How good is our access to Him?

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1 and 2

It was God’s idea that through believing in our Lord Jesus Christ we have peace with Him, and we have access into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of obtaining the glory of God.

Through the Lord Jesus Christ we obtained the access into God's Divine favor, in which we now stand. Now we are highly favored in His sight.

“For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” Ephesians 2:18

Through Christ Jesus both Judean and Gentiles have access to the Father by one spirit, the spirit that Jesus Christ first made available on the Feast of Pentecost.

“In Whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him.” Ephesians 3:12

In Christ Jesus our Lord we have the boldness to freely speak with our Father and we have access to Him with confidence through the right way of believing in him.

We have phenomenal access to our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ because of his accomplishments!

Let us use our access and approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. I would say that this is such a time.

We are besieged by a pandemic that is infecting the whole world and shutting down one nation after the other. What do we do?

God is our FATHER now and we are His children, so cast every one of your concerns upon Him because He cares for you.

We have access to the Father’s throne of grace 24/7/365 so approach it confidently and speak freely with Him about whatever concerns you may have.

“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.” Psalm 34:15

In Christ, we are justified, righteous, sanctified, redeemed, saints that are holy and without blame before Him, His dearly beloved and highly favored children who have the power of the holy spirit born within them, and we have access to the Father by the spirit, so pray to the Father like the son of God that He created you to be in Christ Jesus, and use your privileged access. He sees your need and hears your prayers.

Jesus foretold of these days during his earthly ministry.

“But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23,24

This hour came on the Feast of Pentecost following Jesus' resurrection from the dead.

Through Christ, whether people were previously Judeans or Gentiles, they now have access unto the Father by one spirit, so we can truly worship Him via the spirit.

"For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh." Philippians 3:3

Dearly beloved, we are the true worshipers that worship the Father truly by the spirit. The Father seeks such to worship Him.

“Boldly enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” Psalm 100:4

In Christ we have entered the true holy places in the heavenly realm by the blood of Jesus, and we have access to God's throne of grace.

Our Father made us alive by the new birth spirit. He raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus, He made us fellow citizens with the holy ones, and members of the household of God.

In Christ we are being built together for God’s dwelling place by the spirit!

In Christ we have an extremely privileged position before our Heavenly Father. We are seated before Him in the heavenly realm, and we have access to Him through the new birth spirit, so boldly make your requests known to Him with the absolute certainty of believing.

Now we can boldly use our access with confidence, praying always with every prayer in the spirit. We can stay on watch with all perseverance making prayer requests for all the saints as we are instructed to do in Ephesians 6:18.

Romans 8: 26 and 27
"Likewise the Spirit [the new birth spirit in manifestation] also helps our infirmities [texts: infirmity] for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself [the new birth spirit in manifestation] makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered [inexpressible groanings].
And He [God] That searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit [the new birth spirit in manifestation], because He [it] makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

When we pray in the spirit, the spirit helps our infirmity of not knowing what to pray for as we should, and it makes intercession for us according to the will of God.

Oh dearly beloved, the Father has shown us great grace and given us a truly privileged position before Him in Christ. Our Father freely gives us all things with Christ. Do you now see how highly favored we are in Christ?

We may be besieged but we have nothing to fear; the devil fears those who believe who they are in Christ, operate the power of the holy spirit, and who use their access to the Father.

It is Christ in you, the hope of glory. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. Resist the devil and he will flee. We are more than conquerors through him that loved us. God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet!

Use the access to the Father that we have in Christ. Give persistent attention to prayer. God not only hears our prayers, He will grant the requests we ask of Him, only ask with believing, dearly beloved, and you will receive.
