Stand in the Gap

Dearly beloved of God, since our Father hears the prayers of the righteous this would be a good time to stand in the gap and make intercession concerning this pandemic. If not us, who? If not now, when?

Our Father delivered us from the authority of darkness, and He transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.

He raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus. In fact, we are members of his body, the Church, the fullness of him, and he filled every one of us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in
Christ:it is all in all of us. He made Christ the head of this body

We are now citizens in the heavenly realm, and we have the life-giving spirit of Christ within us, as well as all the rights, privileges, and ability that go with it.

We have a highly privileged position of influence before the Father as His dearly beloved children. If any one is in a position to make a difference in this situation we are; we can get to the cause of problem by petitioning God to exert His power for deliverance. Our believing should be in the power of God to deliver us.

When we were born again we received the gift of holy spirit, and that spirit is power from on high. One way we can exercise this power is to pray in the spirit, and the Father exhorts us to pray always with every prayer in the spirit, watching thereunto with all perseverance making supplication for all the saints.

This comes under the heading of “greater works” that Jesus Christ said we can do. He said that those who believe on him, the works that he did we shall do also; and greater works than these shall we do because he was going to the Father. We received the power that enables us to do these greater works when we were born again.

"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16

Take a stand dearly beloved, and pray without ceasing.

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us: and if we know that He hears us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.” I John 5:14 and 15

You are God’s best, dearly beloved, so let’s stand in the gap and pray, pray, pray. He hears our prayers.
