Exceeding Riches of His Grace
Dearly beloved and highly favored in Christ, we stand before God in Christ, through him we are sealed with the promised holy spirit, and we have access to the Father by that spirit. We are God’s dwelling place by the spirit.
We have the glorious hope of His calling, and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in us, His saints.
We have the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe, the power that is according to the working of His almighty power which He energized in the Christ when He raised him from the dead and He seated him at His right hand far above all in heaven and earth, both in this age and that which is to come.
By His glorious power He put all things all things under Christ's feet, and made him the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all things in all His saints.
By the exceeding greatness of His power He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved), and He raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages He might display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
None of this was done by our will, but by the good pleasure of His Will that He purposed in Christ Jesus.
None of it was by our works, but by the work of God and His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
None of it is by our power, but by the exceeding greatness of His power that He exerted in the Christ when He raised him from the dead and seated him at His right side.
None of us deserved the exceeding riches of His grace, but all of it is ours because of His great love, and rich mercy that He purposed in Christ Jesus. What do we have that we did not receive?
Live in the riches of His grace and unto the praise of His glory today and be thankful, dearly beloved. Be confident of His revelation of who you are in Christ. Walk out on it boldly.
