We Walk by Believing
Dearly beloved of God, we walk by believing, not by sight. The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God.
God our Father says that we are His children and His heirs and joint heirs with Christ. We entered the kingdom of God the moment we were born again.
Now we are sealed for salvation and everlasting life. When Christ returns we will physically enter the kingdom of His beloved Son.
Dearly beloved, the sufferings of this present time are not comparable to the glory that is to be revealed to us!
Until then we live in this world, but we are no longer of it. Our citizenship is now in the heavenly realm, from where we also patiently wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the world we have troubles, but in the face of those troubles we walk by believing, not by what we see. We are not discouraged.
In the face of the afflictions and suffering of this life we walk by believing, not by sight.
In the face of divisions, and conflicts; we walk by believing, not by sight.
Even in situations that we may face death, we walk by believing, not by sight.
We do not look at earthly things, we look at eternal realities. We walk by believing, not by sight. We set our affection on things above where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. When Christ, our life shall appear, then we shall appear with him in glory.
We are not discouraged. Though we are afflicted, persecuted, and knocked down; we are not destroyed. We walk by believing, not by things that are seen.
We make it a point of honor to be well pleasing to God our Father because it is Christ in us, the hope of glory. We walk by believing, not by sight.
We hold the confession of our hope without wavering, for He is faithful that promised.
Dearly beloved, believing is the assurance concerning those things that are in hope as if they had in fact happened, and the evidence of those things that are not seen.
We believe what we have heard from God our Father regarding our salvation and our hope, therefore we are not discouraged.
The light afflictions of this life are temporary, but the exceedingly heavy weight of glory we will receive when Christ returns for us is eternal, and it is absolutely certain. The Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and he is coming.
Until then we walk by believing, not by sight, dearly beloved. Until then we live as strangers and pilgrims on the earth as we see our hope in the distance. We are looking for our true heavenly homeland where the just will live by believing.
In a little while, “he who is coming will arrive and will not be late.” So walk by believing; we will not be disappointed in our expectations in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Dearly beloved, God is faithful, by Whom we were called into the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord. What He has promised He will perform.
God called us by the gospel of God to the acquisition of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Rejoice!
The Lord is faithful, Who will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
It will take God our Father the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness so us in Christ Jesus, dearly beloved, so until then, walk with Him by believing. Take Him at His Word.
