Dearly Beloved

We Are Sufficient
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ said on numerous occasions that he could do nothing of himself, but only as the Father directed him to do the good pleasure of His Will.
We have such trust through Christ to God-ward, not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything is of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. Without Him we can do nothing. With Him we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
God our Father has made us able ministers of the new covenant of the spirit; not of the letter of the old covenant of the law for the law kills, but the spirit gives life. Now it is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Christ the Lord is that spirit, and where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. He is the spirit of the new covenant.
We with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from the glory of the new birth to the glory of the inheritance even as by the spirit of the Lord. Rejoice and give God thanks!
Dearly beloved, we have this treasure in earthen vessels so that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. The spirit of Christ within is our staying power in the face of trouble, when we are perplexed, as we encounter persecution. He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world! It is thru him that we are more than conquerors.
God our Father made us more than conquerors thru Christ who strengthens us. His grace is sufficient for us in every situation we may face in life. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Therefore we take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Dearly beloved you are the habitation of God. We are completely filled with all in all of us. He works in us to will and do of His good pleasure. He has enabled us with His spirit and He will energize it in us for godly profit. He energizes all nine manifestations of the one and selfsame spirit of sonship in all of us, distributing to each person individually even as he wills.
Each member in the body of Christ is filled with all the fullness of God and we are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.
We are sufficient in all things all the time as we walk in the great grace He has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Unto Him be glory in the church in Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen!
