What a Difference
Dearly beloved of God, have you noticed any changes in your life since Jesus Christ gave you the introduction to God as your Father?
In Christ we have gone from being the children of wrath to being God’s dearly beloved children, and delivered from the wrath to come.
In Christ we have gone from being guilty before God to being justified, and there being no more condemnation to us; in fact we will never again come into condemnation.
We were once overpowered by fears but in Christ we can do all things through Christ. God promises to deliver us from the things that make us afraid.
We have gone from being far off to nigh by the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, we are God’s dwelling place by the spirit; we are His sanctuary in the Lord.
We are no longer strangers and foreigners, we are fellow citizens with the saints, and we are of the household of God.
In Christ we no longer are of the flesh, we are of the spirit since the spirit from God dwells in us.
We have gone from being ungodly to having a true, vital spirit based relationship with God as our Father. We have received the gift of holy spirit and we were enabled with the nine manifestations.
We are no longer victims, we have been delivered from the power of darkness and now we have a standing in God’s kingdom. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.
We have gone from being powerless, to being strengthened with might by His spirit in the inner man. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think about according to the power that works in us.
We were once oppressed by the devil with sickness, we were subject to "incurable diseases," and we had unsound minds, but we were healed by the stripes laid on Jesus Christ, and the chastisement of our peace was laid on him. Now we can be at peace and have a sound minds.
We have gone from being constantly needy to being able to sow bountifully. God is able to make all grace abound toward you so that you always have all sufficiency in all things, so you may abound to every good work. He promises to multiply our sown seed.
We have gone from wandering aimlessly through life, to being led by the spirit so He can now direct our steps.
We no longer have to be ignorant of spiritual matters, God can open the eyes of our understanding with His Word and His Spirit so that we have enlightened understanding.
In Christ we have gone from having no hope to having the hope of acquiring the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have a glorious inheritance coming to us when Christ returns.
We no longer have to live with the fear of death. In Christ we have the hope of eternal life at the coming of Christ, and having bodies like Christ's glorious body.
Dearly beloved, don’t be conditioned by the world, be transformed by the renewing of your mind so you can prove the good, well-pleasing, and mature will of God in your life.
We have so much more in Christ than the things I have mentioned, and it will take the Father the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
We have so many new things in Christ, and there are many more to come. Rejoice, and walk in the good pleasure of His Will.
II Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass [mirror] the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory [of the new birth] to glory [of the inheritance when Christ returns], even as the by the Spirit of the Lord.
