A Glorious Calling, Great Grace, Riches, and Treasures
Dearly beloved of God, rejoice; by His grace God called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus. We will inherit the glory of God. He called us to His kingdom and glory by the gospel of God concerning Christ. Beloved, He called us to acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Who could have ever imagined such treasures as these? He blessed us in Christ with the exceeding riches of His grace.
God’s goodness to us far exceeds our wildest imagination. What He has purposed in Christ, no one can disannul. His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back? No one, and nothing can stop Him from executing all that He purposed in Christ. He will do all the good pleasure of His Will.
God revealed what is in His heart concerning His children. He sent His Son so that we might be saved, and born again of His spirit.
In Christ and by his accomplishments we have an entrance into the kingdom of God by being born again of His spirit. This entrance is ours by the grace of God.
In Christ we have an inheritance as heirs of God; and the Father freely gives us all things with His dearly beloved Son. We are joint heirs with Christ. We will have glorious bodies like Christ's glorious body; we will be conformed to His image, and have eternal life.
We have good hope through grace; the hope of being glorified with Christ; we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Christ we have access to God by the spirit. We are being built together for God’s sanctuary. We are God’s dwelling place by the spirit. We can now worship God in spirit and truth as He desires; such riches of His grace!
God’s goodness toward us in Christ is beyond what we could have ever asked, or even thought about. Everything I have mentioned here, and much more was the good pleasure of His Will concerning us in Christ.
It was God’s idea for us to be so blessed in Christ. He preplanned for these things. He determined them ahead of time. He is the one that conceived them; they were His ideas. He accomplished them in Christ by the good pleasure of His Will. He purposed them for our glory, and all that He did and will do is unto the praise of His glory.
In Christ are hid all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge, and He wants us to have the complete certainty of understanding of His knowledge concerning the mystery concerning Christ Jesus our Lord.
It will take the Father the ages to come to show us the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
It is Christ in you, the hope of glory, and we are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power.
Every dearly beloved child of God has all that Christ accomplished in all of them, and when he returns to gather us up to him, we will be like him.
God our Father has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. He completely filled us in Christ; He freely gives us all things with him from the new birth to the future inheritance. Rejoice, and give God thanks continually.
We are dearly beloved, and highly favored in our Father’s sight. Do not underestimate Him.
He is the Most Powerful God, the Almighty God, the One True and Living God; He is our loving Heavenly Father, and His Will is only good concerning us. Walk in the good pleasure of His Will, beloved of God, and be thankful. Christ is coming!
