It Is a Glory Walk
Dearly beloved of God, our walk is a glory walk; let not your heart be troubled. Do not be disturbed by the events taking place in the world. Fear not; our God is with us, and He is for us. He will never leave us, nor will He ever, ever forsake us. Cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you.
He gives us peace that the world does not know, so don't be anxious; He gives us peace that passes understanding. Be at peace in your heart, Walk with Him, it's a glory walk.
God our Father called us by the gospel of God concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. In Christ we are now fellow citizens in the heavenly realm, and members of the household of God. We are no longer of this world.
God called us unto His eternal glory, and He exhorts us to walk worthy of His kingdom and glory. He called us to acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. As His children we should walk worthy of the calling with which we were called.
God our Father exhorts us to walk with all humility and meekness, with longsuffering, upholding one another in love, putting forth a diligent effort to guard the unity that is from the spirit in the uniting bond of peace.
What is the unity from the spirit? Of what does it consist?
There is only one body, the body of Christ, which is the Church.
There is one spirit, the gift of holy spirit, which is the spirit that makes us the children of God.
We were called in one hope of our calling; the hope of Christ’s return for the Church of the Grace of God.
There is one Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is Lord of both the living and of the dead.
There is only one faith, and that right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God.
There is only one baptism, the baptism that Christ came to make available, the baptism with the holy spirit.
There is only One God and Father of all, Who is over all, and through all, and in all. He is God our Father now.
Dearly beloved, grace was given to each of us according to the measure of the gift of Christ, and we are to guard the unity from the spirit in the uniting bond of peace.
What do we have that we did not receive? All from the new birth to the inheritance is ours by this grace from God, and our Lord Jesus Christ; walk in it.
Our walk is with God and His wonderful Son; it is a walk in the spiritual realities that are ours in Christ Jesus. It is a walk in the love of God toward one another.
How should we walk? Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God also forgave you in Christ. Be an imitator of God like beloved children, and walk in love as Christ loved us and gave himself for us.
Speak the Word of life. Let your speech always be seasoned with salt. Speak words that are fitly spoken like apples of gold served up on a silver platter; words that hit the mark, and minister grace to the hearers. Speak words that are easy to be entreated. Speak unto edifying; speak the truth with the love of God, but speak it, dearly beloved.
Our walk is one of listening to our Heavenly Father, and doing the good pleasure of His Will. It is a walk that brings glory to Him.
We are no longer under fleshly regulations; we walk by a higher standard. We walk by believing Him, not by sight. God wants us to believe what He says; to believe the revelation of the scriptures addressed to us, and by His direction in our lives by the spirit of sonship.
Walk worthy of the calling with which God called us. He has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that called us to His glory and virtue, whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these we might be partakers of the divine nature. It's a glory walk.
God our Father called us unto His kingdom and glory. He called us unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ. He called us to acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. By His grace, He called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus. Walk worthy of it as His dearly beloved, and highly favored child. It is indeed a glory walk!
