He Does Not Change

Dearly beloved, just who are you? You are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus. You are as he is! You are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power. God, His Father and ours, freely gives us all things with him. When you decide to believe who you are in Christ it’s a new day.

When we have the eyes of our understanding enlightened by the revelation of God’s Word and we believe who we are in Christ it is transformative. That which was latent within you suddenly becomes manifest and your walk with him becomes one of power, love, and deliverance. The power that we received from on high in the new birth is ours to give; we can give such as we have. It will turn the world upside down as we reach out in love and touch another person with it.

There may have been times in our lives that we got tricked to think that as great as God is, we were just not worth His trouble to deliver us, or our believing wasn’t good enough to be delivered, or some past sin may have prevented us from getting delivered, or some other lie.

Beloved, God is only as small in our lives as we make him. He is the Lord God Almighty; nothing is too hard for Him! Why would we limit Him as if He was incapable or unwilling to help us when He says He is willing and able to deliver us? Do we put Him in a box of our own making and limit our expectations of Him?

“For My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.”

The adversary’s aim has not changed; he wants to persuade us to believe that God either isn’t willing or He is incapable of delivering us; it's a lie! Instead we must believe the truth that God reveals to us in His Word. His resources are unlimited and He is willing to utilize them to deliver us; don’t ever doubt it.

Our Father is glorified in our lives when He answers our prayers, when He energizes His spirit within us, or when He goes beyond all we could have asked or even thought about according to His power that works in us. It is the good pleasure of His will to do so. There is none other like Him! He wants to be our sufficiency and make us victorious!

If a person will walk with Him, He will walk with them. He respects believing; He is the One that is all powerful; not us. All we do is trust Him to do what He says; to have confidence in Him, that He is able and willing to perform His Word. All we do is walk out on His Word, and behold, His glorious power will be manifested to deliver us. Beloved, walk out and see the delivering power of God! Expect Him to perform His promises in your life.

Circumstances may look overwhelming, we may seem insignificant, but God is Almighty in resources to support, supply, and deliver us according to the good pleasure of His will. The size of our problem is relative to the size of our God.

One notable example of this was during Malachi’s day when God’s people had rejected God; they weren’t exactly walking with Him and doing those things that pleased Him. His own priests were out in left field and leading His people away from Him by their unbelief!

He told them, “Return unto Me and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.” He told them to prove Him right now! He said He would open the windows of heaven and pour them out a blessing that there would not be room enough to receive it! He would rebuke the devourer for their sakes and they would be a delightsome land…and that’s when they were all screwed up, not faithfully walking with Him!

Does that sound like He isn’t willing? Never doubt His goodness, His love, His care; you are His dearly beloved and highly favored kid. There is nothing good that He will withhold from you, beloved. We are His, and He is ours. He wants us to believe it. He is the same today as He was in Malachi’s day; He does not change.
