God Makes a Way

I have a needlework that sits over my desk that says, “God makes a way.” I might add, He makes a way where there is no way.

There are times that situations, decisions, solutions, and resources of the flesh simply fail us. They may seem overwhelming.

If we are to prevail in these times, we must go the throne of grace and give them to the Father. He gave us His spirit when we were born again.

He also gave us access and encourages us to use it with boldness and confidence. He equipped us to pray with the spirit of sonship, which is to speak in tongues.

The book of Romans teaches us,” Likewise, the spirit jointly helps us with our weakness. Moreover, we do not know what we should pray for as necessary, but the spirit itself makes intercession with inexpressible groanings. He Who searches the hearts knows what the thinking of the spirit is, because it makes intercession for the holy ones in accordance with God.” Rev. Cummins, Working Translation

Beloved, regardless of situations we confront, we know that God works with us for good in all things because we love Him and He loves us. We are His dearly beloved. He makes a way for us where there does not seem to be a way according to our senses.

Israel, by believing, crossed the Red Sea, survived in the wilderness, and overcame the walls of Jericho because God made a way for them where there was no way. When they set out on their own they failed time and time again. When they trusted God to supply their needs and direct their paths they were victorious time after time.

Christianity is not about improving the flesh or trying to make it better; it is about walking with the Living God as your Father because the work of His Son made it available to us by His wonderful grace, mercy, and love.

Christianity is about being born of God’s spirit and learning to walk by it. The Church Epistles, Romans to Thessalonians educate us concerning spiritual matters once we are saved. They reveal how we can walk with God as our Father, so He can make a way where there is no way.

Allow Him to be the Father, and as His children, learn to trust Him with all your heart; allow Him to make a way where there is no way. Pray without ceasing. Go to His throne of grace in time of need to find His help. He will never fail His people.
