Fools No Longer
Dearly beloved, the Word of God is true whether people believe it or not. God gave us His Word so that we are not fools. Remember, it is the fool that says in his heart there is no God. God gave us His Word to reveal His goodness to us, to make His heart, and His ways known to us. Without His Word man does not have a clue concerning spiritual matters.
Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in believing giving glory to God. When God fulfills His Word it brings glory to Him. Abraham was fully persuaded that, what He promised, He was able also to perform. That is why God accounted it to him for righteousness.
Our God is equally able and willing to perform His Word in our lives. This was written so that we could learn how to receive the things of God in our lives; from righteousness to healing; from healing to prosperity; from prosperity to the nine manifestations of the spirit. Believing is the only way we can receive the things of God.
God is light, not darkness. He is not a schizophrenic who heals one day and kills the next; who blesses one day and curses the next.
God wants to open the eyes of our understanding and turn us from darkness to light, while the so-called god of this world wants to blind us to God’s glorious treasures.
The god of this world, Satan, said to the Lord, “Does Job reverence You for nothing? Have You not made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will curse You to Your face.' And the Lord said to Satan, ‘Behold, all that he has is under your authority; only upon himself put not your hand upon him.”
Satan is the one who killed Job’s children and his servants, destroyed his prosperity, smote him with boils, turned his wife against him, and ruined that with which God had blessed him.
The adversary is like a locust who tries to devour everything in its path. He comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy.
Jesus Christ our Lord led that which captivates man captive; he rescued us from the power of darkness, having spoiled principalities and powers, making a show of them openly, triumphing over them in his resurrection.
God gave us citizenship in the kingdom of his beloved Son and made us His beloved children. He equipped us to be more than conquerors. He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world!
How do we manifest this victory? We stagger not at God’s promise through unbelief; we are strong in believing giving glory to God because as we believe, He will perform what He promised.
We are fools no longer.. We walk by believing, not by sight. Signs, miracles, and wonders follow them that believe God at His Word. God confirms His Word by performing it. Walk out on it being fully persuaded and you will not be disappointed in your expectation.
