The Truth and Love

Dearly beloved, Christianity is the work of God accomplished by His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Our Father was the prime mover. He conceived, purposed, and planned every detail by the counsel of His own will. It was the good pleasure of His will to do so.

He determined there would be one body of believers, the body of Christ, which is the Church. He made one spirit available, the gift of the new birth spirit. He called us in one hope of our calling, to obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. He made one Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ. He gave us one faith, one true and correct way to believe. He baptized every one of His children with the presence of Christ within by the spirit. God is the Father of all who are in Christ and He is above all, through all, and in us all by His spirit. In fact, we are built together for God’s dwelling place by the spirit.

I thank God for all that He did for us in Christ, who were before dead in sin, ungodly, and His enemies. God desired to bring us near to Him by the work of Christ, become our Father, and graciously, freely give us all things with Christ.

Our response to His love and grace should be to walk worthily with regard to the calling to which He called us, with humility before God and meekness to one another, with enduring patience holding one another up in love, having the same care for one another.

We ought to put forth a diligent effort to guard the unity from the spirit enumerated by the seven “ones” listed in Ephesians 4:4-6, and we should guard this unity in the uniting bond of peace.

Our adversary, the devil, would have us ignorant of God’s Word so that we are unaware of His Will and oblivious to spiritual matters. He wants us to deactivate the power of God in our lives by being apathetic, and be asleep at the switch concerning spiritual realities. He uses all the forces of evil to keep us from believing the truth and walking in the love of God. Beloved, we wrestle with spirits of wickedness in the heavenly realm and the strategies of the devil. Never forget it.

We can walk worthily of our calling. Grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Our Father gave us the freedom, the power, and the joy to walk in the reality of this gift.

We can speak the truth in the love of God so that we can grow up into Christ who is the head.

Truth without the love of God does not edify nor profit us, it only puffs up. Love energizes the power of God in our lives. It takes the truth and the love of God if we are to grow up in Christ in all things, beloved.

Our Father desires that we have a root and foundation in His love, and that we know the love of Christ that exceeds knowledge so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.

He wants us be imitators of Him as beloved children, and walk in love as Christ loved us, and offered up himself for us as an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor.

The true knowledge of His Will always expresses itself in His love, for God is love dear ones.

Dearly beloved and longed for, be strong in the Lord and in the exerted strength of his ability for us. Put on the full armor he has provided us in Christ so that we can stand against the spiritual wickedness of this present darkness, and having done all to stand in his presence when he returns.

Go, stand, and speak all the words of this life, beloved. You are complete in Christ and enabled by the spirit of Him that raised him out from among the dead. You are His love letters to our times; live the truth in love.
