Living for Him

Dearly beloved, the end of the commandment is the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of unfeigned believing; from which some having swerved have turned unto vain discussions.

Sound doctrine is according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to the trust of the Apostle Paul. He was entrusted with the gospel of the grace of God and the mystery concerning Christ. His gospel reveals who we are in Christ.

Beloved, we should be nourished up in the words of believing, and of good doctrine, and exercise ourselves unto godliness. Bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. Godliness is that true, vital, spiritual relationship we have with God as our Father via the spirit of sonship we received in the new birth.

Take heed to yourself and unto the doctrine beloved; continue in them: for in doing this you will make yourself whole, and them that hear you. Let the word concerning Christ dwell in you richly.

Godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out; and having food and raiment let us be therewith be sufficient. We should not trust in uncertain riches, they have wings, but trust in the Living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Do good and be rich in good works, ready to share, willing to communicate, laying up in store for ourselves a good foundation against the time to come, that we may lay hold on eternal life.

Present your life a living sacrifice, beloved; one burning with the power of God; this is holy, well-pleasing unto God, and it is only reasonable service after all He has given us in Christ Jesus.

Above all things put on the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation, which is the bond of maturity, and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in one body; and be thankful.

Put on as God’s elect, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, you do the same, also.

Our lives were bought with a price. Put on the mind of Christ and think like he did so we can walk by his example of believing and love. Live in the love of God as he did, beloved.

Whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Beloved, do not suppress the spirit, manifest it boldly for godly profit for it is God that works in you to will and to do of His good pleasure. Manifest the spirit with confidence and boldly hold forth the word of life to others.

Christ Jesus our Lord is coming, don’t doubt it! Live in light of his coming, beloved. The darker our times become, the brighter you shine as lights in the world. Reach out and touch others as you were touched by the Master's hand.
