Dearly Beloved 5/31/20 "Those Things That Please Him"

Those Things That Please Him

Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, the Beloved One, always did His Father’s will, he always did those things that pleased Him. That was how he accomplished our redemption and salvation.

He said, “The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

He and His Father were on the same page.

He said, “I can of Mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father Which hath sent Me.”

Dearly Beloved 5/30/20 "Pressed Down, Shaken Together, and Running Over"

Pressed Down, Shaken Together, and Running Over

Dearly beloved of God, God instructs us to trust Him, the Living God, not to trust in uncertain riches. The blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. The LORD our God teaches us to profit; He leads us by the way that we should go. His way is definitely not the way of the world.

Luke 6:38
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete [measure] withal it shall be measured to you again.”

Jesus Christ was teaching the people about giving by sharing this common marketplace practice. God blesses a person’s giving in a greater proportion than the amount they give.

Dearly Beloved 5/28/20 "Freely Justified by Christ"

Freely Justified by Christ

Dearly beloved of God, He sent His only begotten Son because He so loved the people of this world, not when we deserved it, but when we were the least worthy of His love.

Jesus Christ, the just one, died in the place of the unjust ones, the unworthy ones. God determined to justify us by the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The justice of God is now manifested, that is, the justice of God that is by the believing of Jesus Christ.

We were justified freely by the grace of God through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. He gave himself a ransom for us all. We were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from our lousy existence; we were redeemed with the precious blood of Christ, the Lamb of God as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He was the payment in full for our sins.

Dearly Beloved 5/26/20 "Rejoice in Hope of the Glory of God"

Rejoice in Hope of the Glory of God

Dearly beloved of God, what a day that will be when our Savior we shall see when we look upon the face of him who saved us by his grace! This world is certainly not our home. Faint not; he is coming!

We are of the household of God and fellow citizens with the saints. Our citizenship is in heaven from whence we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ who shall transform our vile body so that it is fashioned to be like his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

The purpose of the new birth will be fulfilled in the ages to come, when our Heavenly Father shows us the exceeding riches of His grace in loving kindness to us in Christ Jesus. He is coming!

I am confident that He Who began a good work in us will continue to perform it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Dearly Beloved 5/25/20 "Sterile Christianity"

Sterile “Christianity”

Dearly beloved of God, if one were to get rid of God’s spirit in Christianity what would we have left?

The Lord Jesus Christ taught about the coming Kingdom of God. He said to enter this Kingdom was only possible by being born-again.

He said, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is spirit is born of the spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:6 and 7

If we were to get rid of the spirit, we would not be born again, or be able to enter the kingdom of God. What is Christianity without these? We would not be Christians; we would be left with sterile religion that was “Christian” in name only. We would have the religion of the flesh and the works of the flesh.

Dearly Beloved 5/24/20 "The New Normal"

The New Normal

Dearly beloved of God, in the world we hear people say, “Believe in yourself.” When we read the Word of God we read, “Believe God at His Word.” When we believe in ourselves, we believe in our natural ability. When we believe God we believe in His supernatural ability.

I am not knocking the fact that we ought to believe in ourselves, we should, but there is far greater power available to us if we will believe the One True and Living God.

We should be confident in our ability, but our natural ability will only carry us so far. Believing God puts life in a whole different category of living. God’s ability to provide resources is in the realm of the miraculous. He is able and willing to do exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think according to the power that works in us. It is a new normal for us.

Dearly Beloved 5/22/20 "It Is a Matter of Perspective"

It Is a Matter of Perspective

Dearly beloved, how big is our God? For some people, their god is not as big as the challenges they face, but nothing is too hard for our God.

The Israelites had to learn this lesson. They had to gain a new perspective when God delivered them from their captivity and bondage in Egypt.

Exodus 34:10
And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.

God made Himself known to them by performing marvels that had never been done.

God willingly entered a covenant with them to be their God, and they agreed to be His people. He even put the agreement in writing, and gave them His Word that He would keep His end of the covenant.

Dearly Beloved 5/21/20 "Standard Equipment on the New Model"

Standard Equipment on the New Model

Dearly beloved of God, God determined to be our Father. He sent His Son to fulfill what He had written in the scriptures of truth so that He could once again pour out His spirit that we might be saved.

Since we confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead we are saved, we were born-again, born of God’s spirit. All sons of God are fully equipped.

Whether we are male or female, we received the same spirit of sonship.

Whether we are young or old, we received the same spirit of sonship.

Whether we are of the nations, or of Israel we received the same spirit of sonship.

Whether we are bond or free we received the same spirit of sonship.

Dearly Beloved 5/18/20 "Greatly Beloved"

Greatly Beloved
Dearly beloved of God, the grace of God in our lives is beyond our comprehension. Imagine if you will, Daniel, who at a young age was taken captive to a foreign land of idolaters.

As a captive he remained faithful to God worshipping Him, keeping His Word, praying prayers of intercession for His people, as well as being diligent in his duties before the king.

He was set-up by idol worshiping counselors who served the king, which resulted in his being thrown into a den of lions overnight. God sent an angel to shut the lions mouths. The angel protected Daniel throughout the whole episode. If God would do that for a man “greatly beloved” by Him, what would He not do for us, His dearly beloved children?

Dearly Beloved 5/16/20 "Mentioned in the Same Breath"

Mentioned In the Same Breath

Dearly beloved of God, just think; Abraham was called the friend of God, Moses knew God face to face, and John the Baptist was the only man born of women to have the spirit upon him from birth. The Lord Jesus Christ was called the Beloved of God, and we are mentioned in the same breath with him as the beloved of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Beloved Son of God who always does his Father’s will. His Father said, “This is my beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased".

His Father said this to him when the spirit descended and remained upon him when John the Baptist baptized him in the Jordan.

He said, “This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased.” He received the spirit from God and from that day forth he ministered for God as a prophet to the people of Israel.

Dearly Beloved 5/15/20 "Greater Works Than These"

Greater Works Than These

Dearly beloved of God, John the Baptist quite clearly testified that God sent him to baptize with water in order to make Jesus Christ manifest to Israel.

God told him, “…that He That sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, ‘Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He Which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost [the holy spirit].’” John 1:33

This took place at the beginning of his earthly ministry in which he declared the kingdom of God.

At the end of his earthly ministry, on the day of his ascension into the heavenlies, Jesus said, “And behold, I send the promise of My Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

Dearly Beloved 5/14/20 "It Is Quite a Relationship"

It Is Quite a Relationship

Dearly beloved of God, it was His idea to save us, to redeem us, to justify us, to sanctify us, to make us complete in Christ and bless us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in Christ.

It was God’s idea to provide us with access to Him by the new birth spirit and He exhorts us to utilize it with boldness and confidence. He determined the good pleasure of His will, not us, and He planned all of these blessings for us in Christ.

We need to recognize His great love for us, His tender mercies, and His great grace to us in Christ. He foreordained for us to have the sonship as His children according to the good pleasure of His will.

Dearly Beloved 5/13/20 "He Declared Him"

He Declared Him

Dearly beloved of God, how I thank God that we are dearly beloved by our Father. Our Father is the One True God, the Living God, the Most High God, the Almighty God, He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and He is our Father. God is Spirit; He is the Holy Spirit. What kind of a God is He?

“No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, Which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared Him.” John 1:18

How did Jesus Christ declare His Father? Did he make Him known by cursing people or by blessing them; by oppressing them or delivering them; by making them sick or by healing them; by teaching them or by keeping them ignorant; by condemning them or by forgiving them; by bringing them into bondage or by setting them free; by doing his will or His Father’s Will; by taking their lives from them or by giving his life for them; by leaving them a shroud from his funeral, or by God raising him from the dead; by baptizing them with water or by baptizing them with the holy spirit?

Dearly Beloved 5/12/20 "Speaking by the Spirit of God"

Speaking by the Spirit of God

Dearly beloved of God, faint not! You are not alone. Your prayers are heard by the Father. His throne of grace is open to you. He not only hears your cries for deliverance, He is faithful to give you the petitions you desire of Him.

The One True and Living God is your Father and He will never leave you, and He will never, never forsake you: He even gives us proof that He is our Father and we are His children.

Dearly beloved, we are born of God’s spirit and He has given us the ability to pray by the spirit of God; we can speak directly to God. This manifestation of the holy spirit is identified in the scriptures as speaking in tongues.

God had the Apostle Paul communicate the revelation concerning the new birth spirit. What he wrote concerned the gift of holy spirit that each and every child of God is given when they first made Jesus Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead; they were born of God’s spirit.

Dearly Beloved 5/11/20 "The New Normal"

The New Normal

Dearly beloved of God, if you have not heard the latest news, we are now living in “the new normal.” But beloved, what is normal for the world, is not normal for us. We are the sons of God, dearly beloved.

What is our “new normal” as sons of God?

In Christ, we are born again of God’s spirit, beloved of God, having the wisdom of God in Christ, and in him we are justified, forgiven, righteous, sanctified, glorified, redeemed, saved, we stand in God’s grace, we are healed by his stripes, and we are given access to the Father by the spirit, and encouraged to utilize it with boldness and confidence. This is our new normal.

Dearly Beloved 5/10/20 "The Day of Rejoicing"

The Day of Rejoicing

Dearly beloved of God, happy Mother’s Day. I pray that God will truly bless you with His loving kindness and tender mercies today. You are dearly beloved by the Father. May this be a day of rejoicing for you.

I must admit I am looking forward to another day, and it is not Father’s Day. The day I long for is the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ. On that day we will see the Lord Jesus Christ face to face and we will be as he is. Oh, how I ache for that day!

On that day we will receive the salvation for which we hope today. On the day of redemption we will be redeemed from the earth or even from death itself. It will be the day of our departure from this evil age, or from the grave.

By the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering unto him, we have great hope! We will be caught up together, both the dead in Christ who will be made alive and the living who will be transformed, and together we will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. What a great day of rejoicing that will be, dearly beloved; what comfort, rest, fullness of joy, everlasting life, and glory forevermore.

Dearly Beloved 5/8/20 "What's His Name"

What’s His Name?

Dearly beloved of God, God has not changed from the beginning. He is ever the same. He says of Himself, “I change not.”

He identifies Himself by the revelation He gave to holy men of God and He had them write it down so that we could know Who He is and what He is like.

These are a few of His names by which He is known, and some of His qualities that He reveals in His Word.

Dearly Beloved 5/8/20 "Truth Versus Tradition"

Truth Versus Tradition

Dearly beloved of God, when people study the Word of God and let it interpret itself, it becomes available to learn about the things of God so we know what God would have us to believe. Believing comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God.

After healing a man that had an infirmity for thirty eight years, the Judeans asked the man who had cured him, and he did not know. The problem was that Jesus healed him on the wrong day; he healed him on the Sabbath day. Jesus later found the man in the temple, and told him that he was made whole.

The man went to tell the Judeans, then they began to persecute Jesus and they wanted to kill him because he had healed the man on the sabbath.

Jesus then taught them about the resurrections and about his authority to judge, and that he always did his Father’s will, not his own will. He told them about John the Baptist, and said that he had a greater witness than John.

Dearly Beloved 5/7/20 "It's Only Reasonable"

It’s Only Reasonable

Dearly beloved, since God has saved us, sealed us for eternal life, justified us in Christ, forgiven us, and He will glorify us together with Christ in the future, we should willingly present ourselves as living sacrifices, well pleasing unto God; it’s only reasonable divine service as sons of God.

Since the Father called us in Christ, made us holy and without blame before Him, since He has given us access to Him by His spirit and He encourages us to use it with boldness and confidence, it only makes sense to walk in the good pleasure of His will.

After He gave us the privilege of praying by the spirit, and since the eyes of the LORD are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto our prayers, and since we have confidence in Him and we know that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and we know that we have the petitions we desired of Him, we ought to be faithful to Him.

Dearly Beloved 5/5/20 "A Mystery No Longer"

A Mystery No Longer

Dearly beloved of God, we live in the period of time that is called the Administration of the Grace of God, and it is also called the Administration of the Mystery in Ephesians 3:2 and 9.

This administration was hid in God, and He did not reveal it unto the sons of men previously.

In this administration anyone can be born of God’s spirit whether they are a Judean or a Gentile. Each of us receives the like same gift of holy spirit.

The law given to Moses was for Israel. God made a covenant with Israel that He would be their God and they would be His people. It was a legal arrangement.

Dearly Beloved 5/4/20 "We Call Him Father"

We Call Him Father

Dearly beloved and highly favored in the Beloved one [the Lord Jesus Christ], rejoice and thank God our Father that you are holy and without blame before Him, redeemed, forgiven by the riches of His grace, sealed by His spirit and having access to Him and encouraged to use it with boldness and confidence, having Christ in you, the hope of glory. God our Father has blessed you in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm!

Beloved, you may want to read that paragraph again and really think about what it says. Think about the relationship we now have with the One True and Living God, the Almighty God, the LORD our God: this God is now our FATHER.

How do we stand before our Heavenly Father? We stand before Him in Christ. There is no Judean or Gentile, male or female, young or old, bond or freeman: we each and every one stand before Him in Christ and in his accomplishments.

We are completely, completely, completely complete in Christ, and our Father freely gives us all things with His beloved Son. In Christ, each and every son of God shares equally in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.

Dearly Beloved 5/3/20 "Follow Directions and Walk by Believing"

Follow Directions and Walk by Believing

Dearly beloved of God, God reveals His Will either by His written Word or by further information that He may make known to us by His spirit. Either way, God’s Word reveals God’s Will.

God instructs us that we are to walk with Him by believing, believing the instructions that He gives us. We are not to walk by sight because sight may provide us information that contradicts God’s Will, and which may precipitate unbelief on our part.

Believing what God says pleases God, and He rewards those who believe Him.

Hebrews 3 reveals that God does not want us to have, “…an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the Living God.” We should learn from the example of Israel after God delivered them from their captivity in Egypt.

Glorious Riches

Dearly beloved of God, since we confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. That moment we received the spirit of sonship, we were born again of God’s spirit. God gave us a standing before Him in Christ.

We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus. We are new creations in Christ. What is true of one who is in Christ is true of all who are in Christ.

We are members of the body of Christ, the fullness of him, and we are filled with all in all of us. We share with Christ in his accomplishments as sons of God.

Dearly Beloved 5/1/20 "His Loving Agenda"

His Loving Agenda

Dearly beloved of God, we know that businesses have agendas, governments have agendas, educational institutions have agendas, and so do people, but at times people may fail to recognize that God also has an agenda.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. His will is for all people to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

He went to great lengths to make this available to the world. His Son laid down his life in our stead so that we might be saved, and God raised him from the dead.
