You Are a New Creation
Dearly beloved, you are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus. The new man in Christ is a new nature, a new life form, that was created according to God’s purpose in Christ Jesus.
The old man was crucified with Christ; therefore, it is dead. Now we are to put off the former lifestyle, the former way that we used to live. We put it off by walking in the new spirit nature, not by working to improve on the flesh. Now we get our minds to believe the measure God has dealt to us to believe.
He did not deal one thing for one group to believe and then something different for another group to believe. God dealt to every member of the body of Christ the same measure to believe. He set the standard and we are to rise up to believe it.
We are to get our thinking to agree with what God created us to be in Christ Jesus. This is a new wisdom; the wisdom of God in Christ Jesus.
We used to walk by the wisdom of this present evil age of which the god of this world worked to get us to conform.
Christ was made unto us both the power of God and the wisdom of God. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in the mystery concerning Christ.
As we renew our thinking to believe who we are in Christ it will transform us in practice. After all that God did in Christ and all we are in him, we should aspire to believe the measure He has dealt for us to believe.
God filled each one of us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in Christ. Not a single one of us is lacking in a one of them. We have all in all of us. There is no one who is superior and none who are inferior. We all have the same; the same measure in Christ.
Those who choose to renew their minds to the measure God dealt to us for our believing will be transformed by the renewing of their minds. Those who choose to believe the measure God dealt for our believing can present themselves as those who live to do the Father’s will and they can become profitable children who help others.
Jesus Christ offered himself as a sacrifice by dying for our sins. God exhorts us to be living sacrifices; those who live to do His will.
Our Father does not want our thinking deceived and corrupted by the old serpent as Eve’s was; He desires that we walk by His wisdom in Christ. The gospel of God concerning Christ reveals this wisdom to us. This glorious gospel concerning Christ will transform us as we believe it.
Beloved, be transformed by the renewing of your mind, not conformed to the wisdom of this present evil age. Think soberly according to the measure that God dealt to us for our believing. Walk in love as Christ loved his disciples. Live as though our Lord will return today; he could you know.
