Dearly Beloved 5/31/18 "The Day Ahead"

The Day Ahead

Dearly beloved, enjoy your fellowship with the Father this morning. Rise and give Him thanks. Praise His wonderful name.

Pray for one another, for your family, the saints, our country, and whatever needs you may know that others may have. Pray that God opens your eyes to His Word and that He gives you open doors to speak His Word and minister to others.

Rejoice as you rise knowing God is your shield and buckler. He is ever before you and He has your back. He made you more than a conqueror in Christ; walk in that right believing. He is in you and with you in every situation.

Dearly Beloved 5/30/18 "Certainty in the Midst of Uncertainty"

Certainty in the Midst of Uncertainty

With all the uncertainty of our times, we should be so thankful for the certainty of God’s Word, dearly beloved. Every prophecy of the past has come to pass and every word that God speaks of future events will most certainly be fulfilled as well. The only certainty we have is the certainty of the Word of God.

Every day that I watch the news I see and hear things that I once thought impossible. Common sense is not so common as it once was. Man looks at every avenue for answers except God, the spirit realm, and the certainty of His Word. While they claim to be so intelligent, they have become fools.

Daniel tells us that in the end times people will be raving mad with knowledge. People have had a choice to make ever since the beginning. They could believe the wisdom of God or the evil wisdom of this age. The so called god of this world offers people the knowledge of evil and tells them it will make them free while he makes them slaves.

Dearly Beloved 5/29/18 "The Hope of Glory"

The Hope of Glory

Dearly beloved, we ought to be so thankful that the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ draws nigh. We can rejoice day by day for the victory that God has been promised us over sin and death.

Death is an enemy; the last one that will be destroyed before God makes all things new again in a new heaven and new earth. Death is not a welcomed friend; it brings people into a worse state, that of corruption and decay. It is the absence of life of any kind. Only those in Christ have this glorious hope.

The saint’s hope is the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Only he has the power and authority given him by His Father to raise the dead in Christ and to change the living ones in Christ to be immortal. He will end the humiliation we suffer today concerning death and corruption.

Dearly Beloved 5/28/18 "God's Wisdom"

God’s Wisdom

Dearly beloved, “Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are numbered. Fear you not therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows.” Yes, you are His dearly beloved, and He cares for you.

The wisdom of this evil age tries to convince us otherwise, but the Father reveals His wisdom to us in His Word, and His Son demonstrated it while he was on earth.

“Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Dearly Beloved 5/27/18 "The Greatest Secret in the World"

The Greatest Secret in the World

Dearly beloved, the greatest secret in the world today is that the Word of God is the Will of God.

You do not have to wonder about it; God means what He says, and He says what He means.

If He says confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved that is precisely what He means.

If His Word states, “In whom [Jesus Christ] you also, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory,” we have His will, purpose, desire, and plan before our very eyes in writing. His Word is His Will, dear ones.

Dearly Beloved 5/26/18 "The Good Pleasure of His Will"

The Good Pleasure of His Will

Dearly beloved, our God is faithful; He is a loving heavenly Father. His heart is only good towards us. It was His idea to send His Son to save us, not ours. It is His idea to make all things new again, not ours. It was His idea to anoint Jesus with the holy spirit and with power. He went about doing the Father’s will and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

We live in an evil age, but we live in the times of the riches of God’s great grace towards us. We have more than the people of any other age have had. We are born of God’s spirit, having access to him by the accomplished work of Jesus Christ and by the holy spirit he has given us.

In Christ, we are justified before God, righteous in His sight, not by our works, but by Christ’s. We stand before God in Christ as he is, not as we were in the flesh. He exhorts us to now approach Him with confidence and boldness in Christ; did you hear that – with confidence and boldness!

Dearly Beloved 5/25/18 "Resources Are Available"

Resources Are Available

Dearly beloved, how can man with all his failings and his limited five senses understanding critique God’s performance? Just stating the question sounds absurd. God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ is all powerful and He is trustworthy. We can trust Him for deliverance.

“Since what may be known about God is plain to them because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” Romans 1:18-20 NIV

The power of God and His Word are set forth at the very commencement of revelation; just read Genesis 1:1. God’s Word always accomplishes His purposes. Heaven and earth move at His Word; it is the Living Word of the Living God.

Dearly Beloved 5/22/18 "Living Waters"

Living Waters

Dearly beloved, the Lord Jesus, in a conversation with the Samaritan woman by the well said, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that said to you, ‘Give me to drink;’ you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water.” This record is in John 4.

There are two things she needed to know: what is the gift of God and what is the living water?

Further in their conversation the Lord said, “Whosoever drinks of this water [the water in the well] shall thirst again; but whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Dearly Beloved 5/21/18 "New Life and New Love"

New Life and New Love

Dearly beloved, under the Old Covenant of the Law a person could only love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength because that is all a person was capable of doing. They were natural men, only having soul life. The scriptures refer to them as people “in the flesh.”

Once the Lord Jesus Christ made the promise of the Father available, which was the gift of holy spirit, people that receive it are no longer in the flesh. They are born of God’s spirit, and they became His children. God says that they are now “in the spirit.”

“But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit from God dwells in you. Now if any man has not the spirit, that is to say Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ be in you, the body [the old nature of Adam] is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.” Romans 8:9, 10

In Christ we received new life, everlasting life. The spirit we received from God is the source of this life.

“But if the spirit from Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken [make alive] your mortal bodies by His spirit that dwells in you.” 8:11

What dwells in us? The spirit from God that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in us! We are born of that spirit today. It in-dwells us. Christ became a life-giving spirit in us. When Christ returns, that spirit will be the source of our everlasting life. We will have everlasting life and glorious new bodies like Christ’s glorious body.

Dearly Beloved 5/20/18 "The Promise of the Father"

The Promise of the Father

Dearly beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ said that he would send the promise of the Father, which would be power from on high. He said that John had baptized with water, but they would be baptized with the holy spirit.

Jesus Christ gave his life to make the gift of holy spirit available to us. God resurrected Jesus from the dead, and He lifted him up into heaven to sit at His right hand.

Thousands were present on the Feast of Pentecost to witness the original outpouring of the spirit. They all heard the twelve apostles speak in their tongues the wonderful works of God. They asked them, “What does this mean?”

The Lord Jesus Christ received the promise of the holy spirit from the Father, and he poured it out for any and all who confessed him as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead. It was the proof that God had raised His Son from the dead. The promise of the Father had come.

Dearly Beloved 5/18/18 "You Are a New Creation"

You Are a New Creation

Dearly beloved, you are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus. The new man in Christ is a new nature, a new life form, that was created according to God’s purpose in Christ Jesus.

The old man was crucified with Christ; therefore, it is dead. Now we are to put off the former lifestyle, the former way that we used to live. We put it off by walking in the new spirit nature, not by working to improve on the flesh. Now we get our minds to believe the measure God has dealt to us to believe.

He did not deal one thing for one group to believe and then something different for another group to believe. God dealt to every member of the body of Christ the same measure to believe. He set the standard and we are to rise up to believe it.

Dearly Beloved 5/17/18 "No Longer a Secret"

No Longer a Secret

Dearly beloved, our hope in Christ was not known before It was revealed to the Apostle Paul. The resurrections were known by Israel. Jesus Christ also taught about them. He also taught that he would come back for them. When he ascended, the angels said, “This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.” Zechariah reveals that he will come and stand on the Mount of Olives, the same mount from which he ascended.

The Day of the Lord, spoken of in the Old Testament, gospels, epistles, and the book of Revelation has nothing to do with the church, which is the body of Christ. It deals with the nation of Israel and the Gentiles, or the nations. The Church which is made up of Judeans and Gentiles that believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and that God raised him from the dead are saved and incorporated into one body, the body of Christ, which is the Church.

Three times the Church Epistles reveal that we will be saved from the wrath to come, which is part of the Day of the Lord or Lord’s Day. We will never again come into condemnation and nothing can separate us from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dearly Beloved 5/15/18 "New Things Have Come"

New Things Have Come

Dearly beloved of God, new things have come, and all the new things are of God. We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus. God invited all men to receive these new things, but not all have taken Him up on the offer; you have!

Now, in Christ and by his accomplishments, we are justified from the condemnation of sin, we have peace with God, we have access into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of receiving the glory of God. He gave us the promise of the holy spirit. He reconciled us and delivered us from the wrath to come.

In Christ, you are a member of his body and he fills each member with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. We have all in all of us.

Dearly Beloved 5/4/18 "Whose Approval Should We Seek?"

Whose Approval Should We Seek?

Dearly beloved, I thank God for your fellowship in the gospel, and I am confident that He that began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ Jesus, the day that he will return and gather the members of his body together in the air to be with him.

Until then, dearly beloved, I pray that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and in all spiritual awareness so that you are able to examine everything in light of God’s Word and know what is the best, so that you might be genuine and without offence until the day of Christ, being filled with the fruit of righteousness that is by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God.

Whose approval do we seek, beloved? Do we seek to stand approved before the man in the mirror, others, or God? Nothing in the flesh, whether ours, or anyone else’s flesh gains us approval before God. We stand approved before God in Christ and by his work.

Dearly Beloved 5/1/18 "A Reality Check"

A Reality Check

Dearly beloved, God, our Father created the heavens and the earth, and the garden of Eden for man. This earth is the only planet to have an abundance of animals, plants, and people because it alone has the conditions necessary to support life. He created it for man.

When He created, formed, and made man, He gave him the dominion over the works of His hands. The old serpent, the devil, usurped man’s dominion and the ground was cursed, thorned, and thistled. Adam died spiritually, and then hundreds of years later he died physically. The serpent’s end is coming, and we will witness it!

Beloved, Christ Jesus our Lord will have dominion when he returns to the earth. All Israel will be a garden of abundance for His people. The Lord will return as King of kings and Lord of lords and reign for a thousand years. He will subdue every enemy and break them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
