Freedom or Bondage

Dearly beloved of God, fear is a snare. Snares capture its prey; they enslave. Fear does not come from the One True God.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

A mind filled with fear is an unsound mind and it will not trust God to perform His Word.

“I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

The LORD delivered him from everything that made him afraid. Think about that. This is true deliverance. What would our lives be like if we overcame all our fears?

We do not have to live with fears and worries. We can come to a knowledge of the truth and it will make us free if we believe it: free from disease, free from financial bondage, free from harm coming to us, free from what the future holds, free from the attacks from our adversary. Free indeed!

We can take God at His Word and walk in His deliverance because He is able and willing to deliver from the things that make us afraid. The antidote to fear is to believe God at His Word; to literally walk out on it, and let Him deal with the things that make us afraid.

Believing affects our thinking, our confession, our actions, and our outcomes.

Many folks get born again of God’s spirit, but some never learn about the power that is theirs in the new birth. Others do not walk in the deliverance that birth affords because they never change their minds and heart to believe God at His Word once they know His Word.

Dearly beloved, fear is our only enemy. If God is our sufficiency in all things, what do we have to fear? If God is for us, what difference does it make who or what is against us? God is our sufficiency in ALL THINGS! Walk boldly in that reality.

Bring your thinking and believing in alignment with God’s Word; it reveals God’s Will and it reveals what He makes available to us.

Believing is the key to receiving the things of God in your life. Plant your feet squarely on what He says - it is holy ground.

God did not lie to us; we can take Him at His Word. We can trust what He says. He backs up His Word with His power. He performs His Word; He brings it to pass. What do you have to lose by believing God other than your fears?

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith [believing] in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:22-24

Once you know what is available from God, believe it; that’s the key to receiving it in your life. God is not a respecter of persons. Jesus Christ said, “whosoever.” He also said, “what things soever.” It’s a blank check. What will you do with this knowledge, dearly beloved?

People are willing to spend thousands of dollars to learn how to make more money, or advance in their chosen profession; what about advancing to live a more abundant life? What is it worth to learn how to walk as more than a conqueror; to walk with the power of the Living God in your life?

It is impossible to please God without believing what He says. Believing is the one thing He requires of us.

Believing is the opposite of fear. When we track with God and His Word we will see His Will come to pass in our lives. When we believe what He says, all things are possible to him that believes.

Believing is the turning point; it will take you from bondage to being free indeed. Believing releases us from victimhood. It allows us to walk as more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus our Lord, dearly beloved, regardless of our circumstances.
