God Exalted His Son

Dearly beloved of God, after exalting His Son by raising him from the dead, God made the same Jesus that they crucified both Lord and Christ. He declared Jesus Christ the Lord as His Son by raising him out from among all the dead people.

Hebrews 11 sets forth a list of believers who were “Hall of Fame” quality; they were faithful to God, believing His Word until they all died without receiving the promises God made them, but they will receive them when Christ returns and raises them to life again.

Those old testament saints lived their lives in light of God’s promises seeing them in the distance as becoming a reality. They lived as strangers and pilgrims on the earth confessing His promises because He was faithful that called them. None of them has inherited eternal life as of yet; they are all dead awaiting the resurrection unto life (See Hebrews 11:13).

However, Jesus Christ did rise from the dead, he ascended into heaven, and he sat down at God’s right hand. This is why Hebrews 12:2 addresses him as “the author and finisher of the faith.” He is the only man to begin and to finish the course of believing God’s promise to the end of actually receiving the promise of eternal life thus far.

He is the first fruits to rise from the dead and the only man seated in the heavenlies today. “And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” John 3:13

Jesus Christ said, “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.”

He came to accomplish His Father's will and finish the work that he sent him to do; his work culminated in sending “the promise of the Father,” which was sending the holy spirit.

God gave the same Jesus that they crucified the authority to send “the promise of the Father” to those who would believe on him, and to endue them with “power from on high”, the gift of holy spirit.

The gift of holy spirit is spirit life; eternal life. If a person confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead he is saved, meaning that he will inherit eternal life when Christ returns for them on the day of redemption.

The dead in Christ will rise first, then we which are alive will be changed, and together we will meet the Lord in the air.

If a person does not have the gift of the holy spirit, the spirit of sonship, he is none of His, but the moment we were born again of His spirit, we became the children of God, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. A hope of glory now awaits us, dearly beloved.

The spirit itself bears witness with our inner being that we are the children of God. God provided us with the proof that we have eternal life; He had His Son send the promised spirit and with that the Age of the Grace of God began.

Speaking in tongues is a manifestation of the spirit; the proof that you are born again of God’s spirit and that you are sealed for eternal life.

Jesus Christ made it available to know, that you know, that you know that you have eternal life. When you speak in tongues, you are not speaking to men, you are speaking divine secrets unto God and edifying yourself spiritually as a son of God.

Thank God for His wonderful love and grace towards us in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God exalted His Son and we will be glorified together with him when he comes, dearly beloved. Come quickly Lord Jesus!
