The Victory that Overcomes the World
Dearly beloved of the Lord, behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God.
We used to be part of this evil world, but that changed when we became sons of God. The world loves their own: the evil, the ungodly, the wicked, the lawless, the sinners; they are of the world, and because of this, they do not know us because they did not want to know the Christ. Don’t be discouraged by the lousy conversation of the wicked.
Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when the Lord Jesus Christ shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is, and every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
We will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ; we will be glorified together with him.
Our hope in Christ is what keeps us untarnished from the onslaught of evil that surrounds us on every side, the same as it did for Christ. It is the helmet of our salvation; wear it proudly because our victory in Christ Jesus the Lord is sure and steadfast and it will not fade away. It is reserved for us in heaven. Faint not, dearly beloved of the Lord.
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The Christ is the only one that can do this; not us.
Our part is to witness with the love of God to one person at a time and minister His Word to them. If we ever stop speaking God’s Word we will no longer have the Living Word.
Don’t be confused; religion, governments, politics, business, education, societies, etc. are all of the world, and the devil is the prince that runs this evil world. None of these things will bring the world the victory we so richly desire. Focus on saving people out of his kingdom of darkness.
Evil men and seducers will get worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. We are not of the world so don’t be taken in by their worldly ideas and causes.
Beloved brethren continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of in the holy Scriptures, which is able to make you wise unto salvation through the right way of believing which is in Christ Jesus.
Anyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and anyone who loves God who made it available to be born of His spirit, should love their brethren who are begotten of Him, also. He begat both of us with the word of truth.
Whosoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our believing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. He is the only solution for this world’s woes. He is coming with the victory! Rejoice forever and keep one another in your prayers!
