Dearly Beloved 11/30/17 "Sealed to Obtain"
Sealed to Obtain
Dearly beloved, you can face today with great joy and rejoicing in your heart because God is your Father, and He has sealed you with the earnest of His spirit for eternal life!
Three times He says that He gave us the earnest [“Earnest” is the Greek word, arrabon, which is earnest, token, or down payment] of His spirit.
“Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.” II Corinthians 1:22
“Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.” II Corinthians 5:5
“In him [the Christ] you also, after you heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, having also believed in him, were sealed with the holy spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the acquisition, unto the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13 and 14

Who Says So?
Dearly beloved, we are complete in Christ Jesus our Lord! I am simply repeating what God says in Colossians 2. If we say what the Word says, we are repeating what God says. The only way we can build the truth of God in our hearts is to know and say what He says.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly [places] in Christ.” Who says so? This is the truth of God; He says so! He blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm! Then are we blessed? You betcha!
It does not matter what the neighbors think, your family thinks, your friends think, the government thinks, your denomination thinks, it does not even matter how you feel about it; it is the truth of God! God the Father blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm, and we are complete in him!
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus….” Whose workmanship are we? We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus! In Christ, we are a new creation, beloved.

Our Greatest Need
Dearly beloved, I am so very thankful for the true knowledge of God that He reveals to us in His Word. I am truly thankful that someone showed me how it interprets itself, and I am so very thankful that it reveals the Father’s will to us, and the work of His Son.
Man’s greatest need is a true knowledge of God; the knowledge He reveals to us by His Word. The greatest secret in the world today is that the Bible is the revealed Word and Will of God. It is God speaking to us, not what men have to say about Him.
Without the knowledge of God, He says that His people wander aimlessly. He says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”, a lack of His knowledge. His Word makes known His will to us. Without this knowledge we are like blind men that cannot see.

All Things Are Yours
Dearly beloved, the only begotten Son of God came to declare the Father and he always did His Father’s will.
We learn in Matthew 4:23, “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.”
John 8:28 and 29, “I do nothing of myself but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. For I do always those things that please him.”
The Lord Jesus was pleasing the Father when he preached the gospel of the kingdom and healed all manner of sickness and disease among the people; he was doing the Father’s will.
Acts 10:38 sums up his ministry saying that he “went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
Matthew 8:16 reveals, “He cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.”
Why did he heal all the sick? The next verse gives us the answer: “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”
Why is healing available to us today? He fulfilled Isaiah 53 by taking our infirmities and bearing our sicknesses. “Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes ye WERE HEALED.” I Peter 2:24

Two "Must Knows"
Dearly beloved, there are two revelation truths that you cannot afford to overlook as a son of God: you are who God says you are in Christ Jesus, and you can do what God says you can do. These two truths totally depend on what God reveals about them. His Word is true and faithful, and you can trust it.
You are a son of God because you were born of His spirit. The moment you confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead you were saved; born of His spirit. You received the spirit of sonship. That spirit contains all the spiritual ability you will ever receive; now it is a matter of learning how to manifest this power with boldness and confidence, so you can be his witness.
In Christ, you also received a new standing before God. You had a standing in Adam; a standing in sin and death. In Christ, you have a standing of justification and life. By the grace of God and the work of Christ, you now stand before God clothed in his righteousness. Because of Christ’s accomplishments you stand before God without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation from God. You have forgiveness of sins by the redemption that is in Christ and by the riches of His grace. Furthermore, nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Fiction or Reality?
Dearly beloved, earthly holidays often come with a lot of hype attached. We develop emotional attachments to these events and sometimes we form unrealistic expectations because of media portrayals. Since fiction shapes these hopes, "Hallmark" dreams oftentimes result in a sense of disappointment, sometimes even depression.
Rejoice; our hopes are founded on Christ Jesus our Lord, his accomplishments, and the certain hope of his return to save and redeem us, to transform these bodies of humiliation to be like his glorious body, and our expectation to acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ! We will not be disappointed in our expectations in him!
Beloved, enjoy your holiday, but don’t give it needless power over you. Regardless of the day, focus on the goodness of God towards you and love one another without a sense of expectation in return.
We all want to be loved, don’t we? Well, beloved, our Father loves us; He sent His Son to save and redeem us. His Son loves us, so much so he gave his life for us. We ought to love one another with the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in our lives. We ought to love as beloved brethren, as members of the household of God.

From Title Deed to Inheritance
Dearly beloved, “faith” is to have trust in information received to the end we act on it with confidence. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The Word also reveals that “the just shall live by faith”, which is quoted three times in the New Testament from Habakkuk 2:4.
Our English word “faith” is translated from the Greek noun, pistis. It is also translated as, “him which believeth”, and “them that believe”. The verb, pisteuo, is to believe, or to have faith in. They both are from the same root and have the same meaning.
The book of Romans reveals the gospel of God concerning God’s Son and it reveals that God sent the Apostle Paul with this revelation to the nations for the obedience of believing.
Once God reveals His Word He expects those who hear it to obey it by believing. In chapter 14 it says, “…for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith [noun: pistis] it is impossible to please [verb: pisteuo] Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” God expects us to believe what He reveals to us.

Keep an Eye on Them
Dearly beloved of the Lord, you are sanctified by God the Father and preserved in Christ Jesus: you are called! Our Father has multiplied His mercy, His grace, His peace, and His love to you. You are His beloved, yes, dearly beloved by God our Father and by our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We must believe what our Father says about us and reject what the world says. When it comes right down to it there are only two sources of knowledge: the knowledge from the One True God, who is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that which comes from the serpent, who is the devil, the so-called god of this world. Listen to your Father. Frame your thinking with His thoughts; think like He says to think, not what the serpent says.
Don’t be conformed to this world; be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The Lord Jesus prayed for the Father to keep those who believed in him. “I pray that Thou shouldest not take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil [one]. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”
Beloved, nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord; nothing! We are his dearly beloved and members of the body of Christ, the church. He saved us, he redeemed us, and he will keep us until he comes again to bring the work which began in grace to its completion in glory.
He will present us to the Father with exceeding great joy, with exultation. Nothing will ever be able to stop him from accomplishing the good pleasure of the Father’s will.

Celebrate Thanksgiving
Dearly beloved, we celebrate a holiday of thanksgiving this week, and yet so few live with thanksgiving in their hearts for what our Father so freely gave us with Christ; He freely gives us all things with Christ. What do we have that we did not receive?
We have eternal life, the spirit of sonship born within us. We received power from on high, which enables us to operate the nine manifestations of holy spirit for godly profit in both our lives and those around us. We have the power of attorney to use this power to do the works that Christ did and even greater works.
We have access by the spirit to the throne of grace and we are instructed to enter with confidence and boldness. We are told to pray with confidence and ask anything according to His will, knowing that He hears us, and, if we know He hears us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. Ask with confidence beloved.
We have rights in the spiritual realm as God’s children. In Christ, we are the righteousness of God and we stand before Him without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. In Christ, we are as blameless as the Lamb slain for us. There is no more legal condemnation to those who are in Christ, no more down judgment from God, and nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are sanctified in Christ, and redeemed by him.

They Saw Things Differently
Dearly beloved, it is not a question of do we believe, (everyone believes something), but what do we believe; or more importantly, whom do we believe.
Faith (believing) comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God. God is not a man that lies. God is true. He is faithful. The information He gives us is true and reliable, and He is faithful to perform His Word. As God’s children our believing should rest upon what we hear from Him and in His faithfulness to perform it.
The just live by faith, by believing the information that God reveals to us. He instructs us to walk by believing, not by sight; sight being put for the things we see. Our believing is to rest upon the revelation truth of His Word, not in the things we see. What we see is circumstantial and unreliable; the senses can be deceived and misled. We are to believe what we hear from God; it alone is true and reliable.
What did Eve see? She saw, “that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desired to make one wise…” What she saw was not reliable; it was a lie. The serpent offered her the knowledge of evil, and promised her that they would not surely die if they ate of its fruit. The serpent said that they would be as gods, knowing good and evil. She was deceived and mislead by what she saw.

Right Believing
Dearly beloved, in 1969 I heard a teaching that literally changed my life; these are some excerpts. I hope it blesses you as it did me.
The teacher said, “There is power in believing. There is power in this world to which you and I as born-again believers have easy access. This power will enable us to overcome our shortcomings and our difficulties, bringing release and victory to our lives. This power is from God. He is everywhere present, which means that He is with you right now. The key involved is knowing and receiving His power, which is the basis on which the whole abundant life hinges. The law of believing brings phenomenal results to all those who apply and practice the principles.”
“The law of believing works equally effectively for both the sinner and the saint; however, the believer, because of the spirit of God within him, may bring forth more abundantly. If you doubt your recovery from sickness, you will by all means slow up and retard your own progress. Right believing is constantly knowing God’s power and presence are in you and with you in every situation! How you think about the problem with which you are confronted at this very moment will determine the outcome. If you doubt its success, you have, by your own believing, determined its unsuccessful outcome. Apply the positive method of the law of believing to every situation in life, to every problem that comes your way, for “…if thou canst, believe, all things are possible [presently available] to him that believeth.”
“The word ‘believe’ is a verb which connotes action. Therefore, believing the Word of God, taking the Word of God literally and acting on it, brings results.” The teacher was Dr. V.P. Wierwille.

Still True Today
Good morning dearly beloved. You are the apple of God’s eye. As a son of the Highest you are under His protective care. You have Christ in you by the spirit and you have every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies at your disposal. You have access to Him at all times. You have a guardian angel to watch over you. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world!
You cannot see these things with your physical eyes, but with the eyes of your understanding as they are enlightened with the Word of God and the spirit of the Living God.
We walk by believing, not by sight, dearly beloved.

Whosoever and Whatsoever
Dearly beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ said, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and you shall have them.”
Did he say if you believe you might receive, or you could receive, or perhaps you will receive, or maybe you will receive? What did he say? Read it again and think about what he said. You may want to read Matthew 17:20; 21;21; and Luke 17:5 and 6, also.
“Whosoever” believes shall receive “whatsoever” he says. Believing is how we receive from God when we pray.
God does not respect one person over another; He is a respecter of believing; the Lord said “whosoever”. He did not say if a leader prays, or an apostle, or prophet prays; he said “whosoever”. You are qualified to receive from God as you believe, beloved.
Believing is to take as true; to have trust and confidence in information as true and reliable. It is to be so certain about the information that you act on it as reality.

You Shall Be Witnesses unto Me
Dearly beloved, God moved in Christ; now it is our turn to move. It is our turn to move under the direction of the holy spirit as God works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure. We are workers together with Him.
The Lord Jesus told his disciples that they were to wait for the promise of the Father, which he said, you have heard from me. He said, “John truly baptized with; but you shall be baptized with the holy spirit not many days hence.” Ten days later, on the Feast of Pentecost, they received the promised spirit.
He went on to say, “But you shall receive power, after that the holy spirit is come upon you; and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The holy spirit is the source of power that enabled them to be witnesses unto the Lord Jesus Christ unto the uttermost part of the earth.
What did they receive? Romans 8 says that they received the spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead; the spirit that now dwells in us and quickens our mortal bodies. His power now indwells us!
The First Century saints became able ministers of a new covenant; that of the spirit. For centuries the prophets had inquired of God when this might be available – it was finally a reality. The Lord Jesus Christ received the promise of the holy spirit from the Father and on the Feast of Pentecost he shed it forth.
The Lord spoke the Word when he was on earth, and it was confirmed by them that heard him. God also bare witness both with signs and wonders, and with many miracles, and distributions of the holy spirit (manifestations of the spirit) according to His own will.

Never Alone Again
Dearly beloved, you are not alone. You are God’s habitation by the spirit, his child. You are a member of the body of Christ with Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Christ Jesus made the access to the Father available to us through the spirit, the spirit of sonship. There’s nothing more we have to do to gain the access; Christ Jesus did all the work to make it available to us. Now it is ours by the grace of God, as is everything is in Christ. God freely gives us all things with Christ, beloved. We now have a spirit to spirit relationship with God: Father to child.
The senses often contradict what God says, but we have a greater witness available to us; the witness of the spirit. Don’t forget, we walk by believing, not by sight.
If you need proof that you are not alone, manifest the spirit of God that is born within you. The Word of God reveals that it is the same spirit born within each of us, not different portions, the same. The spirit of sonship, the gift of holy spirit, provides each of us with the same spiritual ability. It is not more in some and less in others.
There are not nine so-called “gifts” of the spirit; there is only one; the gift of holy spirit that we freely received in the new birth, the spirit of sonship. The gift of holy spirit provides each of us with the ability to operate the nine manifestations of the spirit for the godly profit He intended us to have.
Let’s consider one of them for a moment. In our private prayer life, we can speak to our Father directly; as His children we can speak by the spirit of God directly to Him. When we speak in tongues, we speak unto God, not unto men.

The Solution and the Answers
Dearly beloved, I wish I could write that the things of this world are better this morning, but Christ did not return last night, so…. Poverty, addiction, murder, wars, social injustice, race baiting and division, class warfare, global warming or cooling, secular humanism, activism, terrorism, murder, sexual perversions, and grievances of every kind abound. Lie after lie after lie plague us.
Why should this sound so strange while we live in a world run by “the father of lies?” He has been a liar from the beginning and there is no truth in him; his children are like him. He has been a murderer from the beginning, the deceiver of the whole world, the one that blinds the eyes of those that believe not; the accuser of the brethren, who tempts, hinders, steals, kills, and destroys.
The fool says in his heart, there is no God, nor does he believe in the devil. The fool doesn’t recognize the devil's finger-prints even though are found on everything he touches. They see the effects of his work, but they cannot see who caused it. He deceives the whole world. The father of lies works to convince people that man can correct what he, the devil has done; he even gets people to blame themselves for his work. This lie is called humanism. Look behind the curtain; you will not find the wizard of Oz at work, you will find the father of lies.
We live in a world that is anti-Christ because he promulgates the lie. What would life be like without the devil’s dominion of this world? He is the god of this world, the prince of the power of the air.

His Life’s Work
Dearly beloved saints, the night he was arrested the Lord Jesus went to the garden of Gethsemane to pray. He prayed, “I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest me:” “I have given them Thy Word”. He prayed, “Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy Word is truth.”
If you knew that you were going to die, what would be in your prayer? Surely, what you prayed would hold great significance to you, would it not? The Lord Jesus made His Father known to the people by teaching them God’s Word and acting on it, performing it; it was his life’s work.
He said that God’s Word was truth; not his opinion, not facts; truth. When it comes to truth, my opinion does not matter one way or the other, nor does yours. Truth is truth.
The moment we say, “I think so and so” we have already missed the boat. We do not have the right to elevate our opinions, that is what we may think, above God’s Word.
God does not have to change His mind to believe what we say, we must change our minds to believe what He says; what He says is truth.
The reason we have all the denominations we have in Christianity today is because they do not believe what God says. They hold their opinions above what God reveals to us in His Word; His Word is truth. We will only have truth as we allow God to speak for Himself; as He reveals the truth to us in His Word.

Enter His Rest
Dearly beloved, the Lord Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
His ministry is to save, to deliver, to heal, to support, to defend, to supply all our need. He alone provides the rest we seek. He is Lord of all; of all in the heavenly realm and the earthly realm. None but His Father is above Him in power or authority; his Father gave it to him so that he could perform His Word and Will.
While he came to give his life for people, people sought to take his life from him. While he came to deliver us from our sins, they delivered him unto death as though he was a sinner. While he came to save, they cast him aside as the shame of Israel.
God made this same Jesus both Lord and Christ. God validated his work by raising him from the dead and seating him in the heavenly realm at His right side.

It's A Matter of Heart and Love
Dearly beloved, our Father sees us in Christ. He determined that we are identified with Christ; we died with Christ and we are therefore dead to sin and its guilt and condemnation, and we now stand before Him in Christ with newness of life, spirit life, and we are the righteousness of God in him. We are seated in him in the heavenlies in Christ, and we will be manifested with him in glory as joint-heirs at his coming. We now stand before God in Christ by the grace of God. We fully share with him in all things.
We are “as he is”, “complete” in Christ, and we will be “perfect men [or full grown], unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” when he returns.
Beloved, we will each stand before the judgment seat of Christ and receive for what we have done in the body of Christ, whether it is well-pleasing and worthy of praise, or whether it is not worthy of a reward [I Corinthians 4:5; I Corinthians 3:9-17].
The Scriptures teach us that “the Day of Christ” is going to be a day of rest [II Thessalonians 1:7], comfort [Romans 15:4], joy [I Thessalonians 2:19], and glory [Colossians 3:4].

Take His Word for It
Dearly beloved, I would not know anything about spiritual matters if someone had not opened the Word of God to me and taught me how it fit together, taught me who I am in Christ, and taught me how to operate the manifestations of the spirit. How about you?
I hear people say that since they have the spirit of God today they no longer need the Word of God. Beloved, the Lord Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Who do you think is right?
How does one become a disciple? The Lord said, “If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
What is the standard by which every person will be judged in the last day? “He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”
How do you know if someone loves the Lord Jesus? “Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loves me not keeps not my words: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.”

Dearly beloved by the Father, this world does not deserve you. You are so highly favored and dearly beloved by Him. You are the only ones that can make a difference in this world by your love, believing, and stand for the Father. He has entrusted us with His Word and by His spirit, so that we can minister deliverance to people and give them life.
It amazes me that after thousands of years the adversary never tries anything new against us. Let me ask you a question; when you fail to see deliverance, where does your mind go? Does it turn on you, and how you have failed in this way or that? Do you think that some hidden sin kept you from deliverance? The adversary uses our sincerity and pureness of heart against us. He wants to kill, steal, and destroy people; he certainly does not want us to see deliverance from him and from his attacks.
He uses every tool at his disposal to assault you. He will turn your friends against you, your family, the neighbors, even your own heart; anyone that will aid him in his assault to get you to doubt your heart. Read Job 1 and 2 and following; it’s all there. He doesn’t have to try anything new because what he has always done still works.

The Healer of Broken Hearts
Dearly beloved saints, some of the greatest healing we need is that of our emotions, of our hearts.
Our Lord came to heal the broken hearted, to set the captives free, and he did just that. He is our peace; the end of our strife. He is the only salve capable of healing the wounds of the human heart. His love for us knows no bounds.
Imagine the peace of those touched by the Master’s hand when he said, “I will….” He cleansed the lepers, made the lame to walk, caused the blind to see, he cast out devil spirits, even raised the dead.
He is the healer of broken hearts, the healer of the distraught, of those overcome with grief and wounded with the pain of hurt. He forgave, when others would have killed a woman for her sins. He even saved a man sentenced to death as they hung on the cross dying together.

Dearly beloved of the Father, we are the offspring of earthly parents; born into the family. Likewise, to become a member of God’s spiritual family, we must be born-again; born of His spirit. This is the beginning of the relationship, not the end.
As we were born as earthly babies, likewise we are born as spiritual babies; babes in Christ. In each birth, all the ability the child is endowed with is in the seed that produced their birth, but life does not end with the birth; normally babies grow up and mature and they develop into profitable members of the family and beneficial to society.
To grow, children must be taught, and they must submit to their teaching to the point they can perform what they are taught. They become proficient as they grow. The same is true of babes in Christ.

Is Healing God’s Will for You?
Dearly beloved, healing is always the will of God, yet some people talk about sickness and disease as if God authored them. When God formed, made, and created Adam and Eve there was no sickness or disease, or death until they sinned. Sickness is the result of the serpent’s work, not God’s, and their acceptance of his lie brought about sickness and disease, which ultimately results in physical death.
“Who (God) forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases.” Psalm 103:3. This is the will of God, beloved. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." Psalm 107:20. He says, "I am the Lord that heals thee." Exodus 15:26. He is the God of healing; it is His very nature.
Think about how God made the body; it is fearfully and wonderfully made, He says in Psalm 139:14. He made the body to heal itself; He programmed the ability in our DNA. The body comes programmed with an immune system that detoxifies itself through the liver and the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system, and skin, removing harmful elements. The blood has several types of white blood cells with antibodies that fight infections in different ways. Cells are encoded with the ability to repair corrupted DNA, and so,so much more. The point is, God built all these systems into the human body; He designed it to heal itself. If He hadn’t made the body this way, man would not have survived the first day.

We Need to Talk
Dearly beloved by God the Father, God’s promises do not come with any disclaimers. He says what He means and means what He says, and He is able and willing to perform what He promises - period. He does not need anyone to qualify what He can and will do; He gave us His will and He proclaims that He will fulfill it. Our Father is the Lord God Almighty who supplies, supports, and defends His children.
A child of God must believe that he is dearly beloved by God the Father, even when surrounded by unbelief, when scoffed at, when falsely accused, when attacked with character assassination, or slandered. We must never forget that God our Father dearly loves us. The devil is the accuser of the brethren.
John 1:18 tells us that the only begotten Son is in the bosom of the Father. To be in the bosom of the Father is to be in His comfort and rest. Colossians 3 says that “your life is hid with Christ in God”. Christ is in the bosom of the Father, and since we are hid with Christ in God, we are in the bosom of the Father too; we are His dearly beloved. Don’t let anyone or anything talk you out of how beloved you are by the Father.

How to Get Deliverance
Dearly beloved, what do you need? Whatever it is, God can and will supply it. How do we arrive at the place in our walks with Him that we are absolutely certain of this?
First, we must establish the will of God in our lives. The Word of God reveals His will. Some people believe that God is able to supply their need, but they are not sure He is willing to do it for them. God says that He is both able and willing to supply all our needs. We can cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. If you will study the Word of God, you can establish the will of God in your case.

Did Christ Get It Right?
Dearly beloved, the popular belief today among many Christians is that when one dies the person goes to heaven. Is this the revelation God gave us for our believing?
“For I [the Lord Jesus Christ] came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:38-40
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:44
“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:53 and 54
Four times in John 6, Jesus Christ said, “I will raise him up.” He will raise the same person that lived previously. It is you yourself, the same individual, the same being that lives today that he will raise to life again.
When did the Lord say he would raise him up? He said, “. . . at the last day”, not at the time of one’s death.
