Deliverance from Sin, Sickness and Death
Dearly beloved of God, Isaiah informs us that God’s righteous servant was despised and rejected of men; a man of pains and he was acquainted with sickness. This prophecy concerned Israel’s Messiah, Jesus the Christ.
Jesus was tempted in all things like as we are yet without sin; all things would have to include sickness and death. Surely he carried our sicknesses and he bore our pains.
Isaiah prophesied that he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Able Ministers
Dearly beloved of God, if you are born again of the spirit from God, and you have a knowledge of the Word of God, you have the power and answers that can truly help people.
Romans 1: 16, 17 ESV
6 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith."
The gospel of God is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes it. If a person confesses the Lord Jesus and believes in their heart that God raised him from the dead, they will be saved.

Happy Palm Sunday
Dearly beloved of God, we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus.
God created spirit life in us the moment we confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead.
Ephesians 2:6-10 WTJ
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved [delivered]),
6 and He raised us up together and caused us to sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus
7 so that in the coming ages He might display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8 By grace, you have certainly been saved [delivered] through believing, and this [salvation] is not from yourselves. It is the offering of God.
9 It is not of our works so that no one may boast,
10 for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus on the basis of good works that God previously prepared, so that we may walk in them.
If it was not for God's great love for us and His grace toward us in Christ, where would we all be? We would be dead in trespasses and sins.

Dearly beloved of God, how do you rate success? Some rate it by their financial status, some by the power they hold, some by their position and influence, whether in business, politics, or religion, some by how others esteem them.
How should we rate success as Christians? We ought to be concerned about how God rates success. Let’s look at the only usage of the word “success” in the Bible.

Living in the Reality of Christ’s Accomplishments
Dearly beloved of God, as the sons of God we must renew our minds to who we are in Christ. Christ’s accomplishments are a reality.
We are instructed by God’s Word, “Do not be fashioned by this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind so that we can prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and mature will of God.” Romans 12:2.
If we are to be transformed, we will have to renew our minds to the reality of Christ’s accomplishments.

Dearly beloved of God, I was recently speaking with a Christian who once had heard the truth of the Word of God.
The person said that they were happy with their relationship with God. They said that they started every day with the sinner’s prayer.
I thought to myself, “What a slap in God’s face to think like that after all God went through to claim us as His sons.”

The Just and the Justifier
Dearly beloved of God, God is just and He is the Justifier of all those that believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and what he accomplished in his death and resurrection.
Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
“Author” is the Greek word “archegos.” With the article, as here, the leader, founder, princely-leader; the pioneer, trailblazer, or chief leader.

What He Accomplished for Us
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ our Passover was slain for us. As Israel killed their lambs in Exodus 12, at the time of the first Passover, Jesus Christ was slain as our Passover.
Psalm 105:37
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
According to Exodus 12:37, there were about 600,000 on foot that were men, besides children.

Since Jesus died and was buried on the fourteenth of Nisan, then he must have risen from the dead on the seventeenth.

Jesus compared his death to Jonah’s. Jesus said that he would be “three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Dearly beloved of God, telephones are a wonderful invention. We can pick one up and call anyone we wish. God did not use a telephone, but He did call us by His Word.
Romans 1:5-7
5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The word “called” in verse 6 in the Greek is “kletos,” which means called, in the sense of invited.

It’s an Ephesians Kind of a Morning
Dearly beloved of God, blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.
How are we blessed? Ephesians 1:3 informs us that we are blessed “in Christ.”
What are we blessed with in Christ? We have been blessed “with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.”
Who determined this? “The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” determined it beforehand.

Dearly beloved of God, the Lord Jesus Christ will fulfill every word written about him in the Word of God.
Genesis 3:15 NKJV

He [Christ] shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.
Who is this serpent? Revelation 12:9 and Revelation 20:2 reveal that the old serpent is the devil and Satan.

Dearly beloved of God, there is One True and Living God. God is GOD. Man is but one of His created beings.
Jeremiah 10:10
But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
The LORD, [Jehovah], is the true God. He is the living God, not a lifeless idol. He is an everlasting King. He is the King of the ages, or the King of eternity.

Dearly beloved of God, through all the adversities of life, God is with us, and He is for us.
God is accessible to us, and He exhorts us to come and speak freely with Him having confidence in Him so that He can relieve us of our misery.
God is God our Father today. We are His children. We are born again of the spirit from Him.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Dearly beloved of God, it must have been an extraordinary time to have lived when God led the people of Israel out of their bondage in Egypt.
People today think that we live in extraordinary times; just think what must it have been like to have seen the plagues in Egypt.
Can you imagine what it would have been like to have lived during the time of the first Passover, when the destroyer passed over the firstborn of Israel, while all the firstborn of Egyptians died?

Dearly beloved of God, thank God for His goodness to us. We have the hope of salvation when the Lord Jesus Christ returns. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
If it was not for Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead, death would be the end of life forever for all of mankind.
Thank God that He provided release from the grave when the Lord Jesus Christ returns for the Church, and by the resurrections from the dead.

Dearly beloved of God, what is your hat size?
I Corinthians 8:1
Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
We all have knowledge, and the knowledge of God’s Word is vital for spiritual understanding, but there is more. The point of having the knowledge of the Word of God is so that we can in walk in love.
Knowledge could puff up a person to the end they become arrogant; it shouldn’t, but it could if that person was on an ego trip because of what he knew.

Dearly beloved of God, fear not! In every step you take, God is with you and He is for you. He is God your Father and He will never leave you, nor forsake you. You are His dearly beloved child.
The “News” is not the Word of God; it is Satan’s communication to stir up fear and hate and unbelief in this evil age. He is the god of this age, and it is indeed an evil age.

Dearly beloved of God, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord to save us. He died, rose again, and ascended into heaven, and sat down at God's right side so that we could be as he is.
We are complete in Christ Jesus who is the head of all principality and power; we are completely, completely, absolutely complete in him.
Believe it dear saints. If you ever doubt who you are in Christ, open the Word of God and read what God determined beforehand in Christ Jesus.
