The Life of God
Dearly beloved of God, when a person confesses the Lord Jesus and believes that God raised him from the dead they shall be saved.
Before he made this confession the person only had natural life, which is soul life. Soul life is mortal; it comes with an expiration date. When the natural man dies, he loses that life and he corrupts in the grave and returns to dust, and that is the end of him forever.
The moment that person confesses the Lord Jesus and believes that God raised him from the dead, he not only receives life from God, he receives the life of God, and that spirit life is eternal life.
The person is born again of the spirit from God. A birth indicates life. That very moment the life of God is born within him. Beloved of God, this is the miracle of all miracles.
The person is born again of incorruptible seed. The seed in a natural birth is corruptible seed. The seed in the new birth is incorruptible seed, and it produces eternal life.
God is Spirit and in the new birth a person receives spirit life. It is the spirit that gives life. The person becomes a partaker of the divine nature, a partaker of the life of God.
In the new birth the person receives the spirit of sonship, which makes him a child of God. He is now God’s dwelling place by the spirit.
In the new birth, God becomes God our Father and we become His children and members of His household. We are now children of God, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ. We are brothers and sisters to one another in God’s privileged family.
In Christ, we have access to the Father by the spirit.
Since we now have a Spirit-to-spirit relationship with God, He can now work in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.
He can energize the manifestation of the spirit in us for godly profit.
Beloved, that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. The Lord Jesus said, “Marvel not that I said you must be born again.”
We were so unworthy. We were dead in trespasses and sin, we were children of wrath even as others; we were enemies of God, without God and without hope, but God saved us by His grace and made us whole.
God saved us by His grace, not by our works.
We are no longer natural born men only having soul life, now we are born again of the spirit from God, and we are children of God having the life of God born within us. This life is eternal life.
Oh, rejoice, and offer the Father praise, and live with thanksgiving in your heart for all you have been given. Again, I say rejoice.
Ephesians 2:10, 11
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
The new birth does not automatically change how we think. We must now align our thoughts with God’s thoughts by putting His Word in our minds. We renew our thinking processes so that we agree with how God our Father thinks about us.
Our natural condition in the flesh no longer matters, whether Jew, Gentile, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free. What matters is that it is Christ in you, the hope of glory. God created in Christ one new man.
God, the Father of our lord Jesus Christ, blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.
We are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power. We are identified with Christ in his accomplishments; we are as he is. We are completely filled; nothing was overlooked.
We are completely, completely, completely, absolutely complete in Christ Jesus. All that he accomplished concerning your redemption and salvation is in all the members of his body, the Church.
We are justified and we will be glorified with Christ. We are washed, sanctified by the spirit, and justified from all things from which we could not be justified by the law. There is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. We are righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Beloved, we are delivered from the power of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. We have the victory over sin and death through the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the coming ages, God will show us the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, so be full of joy.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord; not now, not ever.
The life of God now lives in you, dearly beloved of God! Rejoice!
