The Called

Dearly beloved of God, isn’t it wonderful to wake up knowing that you are the called of God?

Romans 1:7 WTJ
To all who are beloved of God, the called, holy [sanctified] one in Rome: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Those who believe the gospel of God concerning His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, are the called of God. What a way to start the day!

Romans 8:28 Nestle- Aland Greek-English New Testament
We know that in everything God works for good with those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
These words are not my words; these words came from God’s own lips.

God works for good in everything for those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. It was, and is, His good pleasure to do them.

Keep reading; it gets even better.
Romans 8:30-32 WTJ
30⌄ Moreover, those for whom He determined things beforehand He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified.
31⌄ So what shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who could be against us?
32⌄ He Who did not even spare His own Son but delivered him up on behalf of all of us, how will He not also freely give us all things with him?

God purposed and determined these things from the time of Genesis 3:15.

In light of God’s plan, He called us, He justified us, and He glorified us. In fact, He will freely give us all things with His Son.

In Christ, we were chosen, which God determined beforehand in accordance with His purpose. He works all things according to the counsel of His own will, and it was His good pleasure to do them.

Oh, rejoice! What a wakeup call!

God called us to His kingdom and glory according to I Thessalonians 2:12.

We have entered the kingdom of God by the new birth, and when Christ returns, we will physically enter it and take acquisition of the glory associated with that call.

Look at what God had in mind when He called you.

II Thessalonians 2:14
Whereunto He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ will transform these mortal and corruptible bodies so that they are like His glorious body that dies no more. We will be glorified with Christ!

If that doesn’t put fire in your soul, I don’t know what will. Who could ever have imagined such wonderful realities as these that God determined concerning us?

These wonderful realities are all ours by the grace of God to us in Christ.

Have a wonderful day walking with God your Father. He is with you and for you today and every day.

You are God’s dearly beloved and highly favored child, and you have access to Him with confidence.

Go to Him for whatever help you may need today. Live with thanksgiving in your heart for all that you have been so freely given by God your Father.

Well, beloved of God, that is your wakeup call for this morning. Believe it; it is true. You are the called of God!

Have confidence in God your Father, and in the Word He has given for our believing.
