Dearly Beloved

Saved, Justified, and Forgiven

Dearly beloved of God, thank God for His great love, grace, and mercy toward us in Christ Jesus.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

I do not know of a greater reality than this. We are saved and we have the hope of salvation, which is eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8 and 9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
We are saved by God’s grace, His divine favor to us in Christ Jesus, not by our works. Jesus said:

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

By believing concerning the Lord Jesus Christ, we have everlasting life, and we will not come unto condemnation. We have passed from death unto life.

Romans 3:24 and 25
24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

In Christ Jesus we are justified, and we have the remission of sins. We will never come unto condemnation.

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

(The words, “who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” are not in the Critical Greek texts.)

Romans 8:33 and 34 WTJ
33 Who will bring legal charges against God’s chosen ones? God, the Justifier?
34 Who can condemn them? Christ? No, he is the one who died, and rather who was raised [from the dead], who is also at the right side of God, and who also makes intercession for us.

There is no condemnation coming to us from God our Father nor from Christ. Christ ever lives to make intercession for us.

II Corinthians 5: 21 WTJ
He [God] made him [Jesus Christ] who did not know sin to be sin for us so that we might become the justness of God in him.

In Christ, we stand before God without any sense of sin, guilt, or shortcoming. We are now righteous before God because of Christ's accomplishments.

Jesus Christ justified us, we are forgiven, and God remembers our sin no longer.

Thank God for His goodness to us in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are truly beloved by God our Father, and we are highly favored in His sight.

It will take Him the coming ages to show us the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
