Not Soon Enough
Dearly beloved of God, the Lord Jesus Christ is the only one that is going to fix this world; not some politician, not some religious zealot, nor some worldly philanthropist.
The Lord Jesus Christ accomplished the payment for our redemption from the sin and the death that Adam brought upon us. He is our Savior. He will return to redeem those who believe on him on the day of redemption.
The Lord will raise the dead in Christ and change those who yet living, and together we shall be gathered up to meet the Lord in the air, and from then on we shall ever be with the Lord. He is the Lord, the Savior, and the Redeemer; there is no other.
He will transform these death doomed bodies to be like his glorious body that dies no more, according to the working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself.
Later on, after the great tribulation, the Lord of lords, and King of kings will come to the earth. The beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies will make war with the Lord and his army. The Lord will cast the beast, and the false prophet into the lake of fire. He will slay the remnant with the sword that proceeds out of his mouth.
The devil will be bound with a great chain and cast into the bottomless pit for a 1,000 years. He will be shut up, and a seal set upon him so that he should deceive the nations no more till the 1,000 years is ended.
When the Lord’s feet touch the Mount of Olivet, the same mount from where he ascended into heaven, it will cleave in two and living waters will flow to the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean, and the desert will become a fruitful plain. Under his leadership Israel will inherit the land God originally gave them.
The Lord will gather living Israel to him in Jerusalem, and he will resurrect those saints that were killed during the great tribulation. He is Lord both of the dead and the living.
The Lord Jesus Christ will subdue every enemy. He will judge the nations, and rule them with a rod of iron and break them in pieces like a potters vessel. If they will not submit there will be no rain in their land, and their flesh will dry up off their bones and they shall die. No one will be able to prevail against the Lord in the day he does the judging!
He is the Prince of Peace, and his people will enjoy peace during his 1,000 year reign on the earth.
The devil will find his end in the lake of fire, where the beast and false prophet are, and he shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.
The Lord will carry out justice until all is fulfilled. He will preside over the resurrection of the just and the unjust. He will separate the just from the unjust. The just will live again and enter the new heaven and new earth. The unjust will die the second death and be destroyed in the lake of fire. The last enemy to be destroyed will be death.
Once he has accomplished all of his Father’s Will, and subdued every enemy the Lord Jesus Christ himself will be subject unto God his Father.
God will then create a new heaven and a new earth where He will dwell with His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. Only the righteous will dwell there. No more devil, no more wrestling with evil spirits from on high, and no more contending with wicked people.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from the eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things will have passed away.
He that sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said unto me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21:4 and 5
Oh rejoice! This is the fix I am waiting for, how about you? There will only be glory, and that forevermore. It cannot be soon enough!
