World News or God’s News?
Dearly beloved of God, fear not, God is our Father, and in Christ we are His dearly beloved, and highly favored children. God our Father is with us and for us; He cares for us, so cast your cares upon Him.
Thank God that we have been delivered from the power of darkness; in Christ we have gained an entrance into the kingdom of God. That is God news!
We have redemption through Jesus Christ’s blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, which He has abounded to us,.
Furthermore, we are sealed with the holy spirit of promise for the day of redemption when God our Father will send His Son to redeem us from death and this present evil age. Oh rejoice!
If your thinking is wrapped up in this present evil age your head is in the wrong place. Do not be conformed to this age; be transformed by the renewing of your mind to who you are in Christ. Believe the measure that God has dealt for us to believe.
If you seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God you will have peace and joy. He reveals His heavenly news to us in His Word.
We are members of the Church, which is the body of Christ. Our citizenship is in the heavenly realm where Christ is seated.
God our Father has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. It is all of them in all of the members of the body of Christ. Now that is God news!
God raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus so that in the coming ages He might display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
How could you not be at peace, and full of joy with God's good news such as this?
God will send the Lord Jesus Christ to gather us up to meet him in the air. Until then He has given us access to Him by the spirit of sonship.
His throne of grace is open to us so we can find timely help when we are in need. His ears are open to our prayers; He delights in them, so go to Him.
Dearly beloved, we are no longer in the flesh but in the spirit since the spirit from God dwells in us, and since Christ is in you the spirit is life because of God’s justness.
We have the spirit from Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelling in us, and He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also give life to your mortal body because His spirit dwells in us.
We are no longer indebted to live according to the flesh. We are born of the spirit from God and have entered His kingdom; walk in the complete reality of the spirit including the rights, privileges, and ability associated with our sonship.
Dearly beloved, as many as are led by the complete new birth spirit reality are the sons of God. We received a spirit making us sons of God, whereby we cry, “Father, Father.”
The spirit itself bears witness with our inner being that we are the children of God, and if children then heirs, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. We have the proof! That is God news worth having.
God called us in Christ, He justified us in him, and we will be glorified together with him. He that spared not His own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how will He not with him also freely give us all things?
I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to compare with the glory that shall be revealed to us. Rejoice!
Keep your eyes on things above, dearly beloved; not on the things of the world.
When the Lord Jesus Christ comes we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is.
Every person that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure. That is fantastic news from God, dearly beloved.
Rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Live in peace, and be full of joy until he comes, dearly beloved. This is the God news for today. No world news compares to the grace and glory of news such as this.
