Dearly Beloved

His Delight
Dearly beloved of God, have confidence toward God when you pray. God our Father is trustworthy, and He is faithful. Go to Him with your whole heart; the prayer of the upright is His delight.
The eyes of the LORD are upon them that reverence Him, upon them that hope in His mercy. Wait upon the LORD; he is our help and our shield.
The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto our cries.
If you have any question if you are righteous, pay attention to what God reveals to us in II Corinthians 5:21.
“For He [God] hath made him [Jesus Christ] to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; [why?] that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him [Jesus Christ].
In Christ we stand before God clothed in his righteousness without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. We did not appropriate this standing before God by our works, it was the gift of God to us in Christ.
By grace we are saved by confessing Jesus as Lord, and believing that God raised him from the dead.
The Lord Jesus did all the work required for our salvation. We received all that he accomplished by grace, not by works so that no one can boast, for we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works.
The Lord Jesus Christ did what we could never accomplish for ourselves. He took us from being dead in sins to being alive before God, even born again of the spirit from Him.
This was God’s idea, not ours. He did it according to His own purpose in Christ. It was by His own counsel, it was the good pleasure of His will to accomplish this in Christ, and then He freely gave it to us.
God determined beforehand that He would conform us to the image of His Son so that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
He called us in Christ, justified us by his accomplishments, and we will be glorified with him as joint heirs; we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, it was God’s idea to freely give us all things with His beloved Son.
Such grace God our Father has shown us in Christ! Remember this when you pray. If He would go to these lengths to save us when we were dead in sin, and His enemies, what good thing will He withhold from those who love Him after we have become His children, and members of His household?
Have confidence toward God when you pray, dearly beloved. Your prayers are His delight. Talk His ear off, and trust Him to perform His Word; He is faithful.
God our Father is able and willing to deliver you; He is your Father, and you are His dearly beloved child.
“The eyes of the LORD are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers…”
Rejoice! He is near, and He will never leave you, nor ever, ever forsake you. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and He delivers those who are bruised.
Dearly beloved, in Christ we have access by one spirit unto the Father. It would be a shame not to use this access since it was His idea for us to have it.
He has given us access to His throne of grace, and He encourages us to utilize it with boldness and confidence, so that we may have His timely help when we are in need.
So, dearly beloved, go to Him. Pray until you receive your answer; do not faint. Your prayers are His delight.
