Dearly Beloved

Is It True?
Dearly beloved of God, not only is God our God, God is our Father.
God told Abraham, “I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” Genesis 17:7
God told the children of Israel, “For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.” Leviticus 11:45
He said, “I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.” Leviticus 25:38
God told the children of Israel, “I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.” Numbers 15:41
God made His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the children of Israel by which He became their God, and they became His people. This covenant relationship pertained to the seed of Abraham. It was passed on by physical linage, by bloodline, by tribal heritage.
In the new covenant, by the redeeming work of Christ, our relationship with God is not according to genealogical bloodline, or by the old covenant of the law, nor by tribal heritage. Our relationship with God is based on being born again of the spirit from God.
When we confessed Jesus as lord and believed that God raised him from the dead we were saved, and we were born again of His spirit. In the new birth God is our God, and He is our Father, and we are His children.
In Christ we are members of his body, the Church, and the Church is “the Church of God.” The One True and Living God is our God, and He is our Father! We are His children by virtue of the new birth, and holy spirit seed.
God not only became our God, He became our Father, and we became His children.
Israel may have been delivered from captivity in Egypt, and passed through the Red Sea, and entered the promised land, but we have passed from death unto life.
We were dead in sin, without God, and without hope, but we received the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. We are seated in the heavenly realm in Christ, and when he returns for us we will physically enter the kingdom of God’s beloved Son, and we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Rejoice, dearly beloved of God; God is our God, and He is God our Father. Those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are the Church of God. It is true!
Through Christ we were given the spirit of sonship, and we have access to the throne room of grace, and to God Himself; He is our God and our Father.
We received the spirit of sonship. God’s spirit witnesses to our inner being that we are children of God, and if children, heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. We certainly are the children of privilege.
Enter His courts with thanksgiving and His gates with praise. Don’t take your privilege for granted, dearly beloved. God is our God, and He is our Father, and we are His children. The inheritance is coming….
