Here We Go Again
Dearly beloved of God, here we go again. It seems as though every time something devilish happens in the world, someone starts the drumbeat that it indicates the end is near, and God’s judgment is coming.
Today is man’s day, and it his time to do the judging. When the Day of the Lord becomes a reality, the Lord Jesus Christ will do the judging.
The Lord’s Day is not a day of the week; it is the day when the Lord Jesus Christ will do the judging. God committed all judgment unto His Son.
Not only that, he will raise all that are in the graves, and he will separate the just from the unjust.
If we are to speak about the times of “the end” we must understand two words, both which are both translated “end:” the Greek words “sunteleia” and “telos.”
“Sunteleia” marks all the events that lead up to the “telos.” Take for example, a dog’s tail. The “sunteleia” would include the whole tail, while the “telos” would be the tip of that tail; the very end of it. The “sunteleia” includes all the events leading up to the “telos.”
The “sunteleia” includes many events. It includes Christ’s coming for the Church of the Grace of God is spoken of in I Thessalonians 4:15-18. The Lord Jesus Christ will raise the dead in Christ first, then we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
After this, the events pertaining to the Lord’s Day will begin to unfold. The Day of the Lord will include all the events foretold by the prophets concerning the Day of the Lord. The book of Revelation concerns the Lord's Day, also.
Some of the events which will occur in the Lord's Day include the revealing of the beast, the son of perdition who will oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
The desolation of abomination will be set up in the Temple.
People will have to receive the mark of the beast in their right hand, or in their forehead if they are to buy or sell.
There will be great tribulation like the world has never seen. The wrath of the Gentiles will be poured out on the Judeans in the times of the Gentiles. Then, the wrath of God will be poured out on the world.
The Lord of lords, and King of kings will return to the earth and he will reign for 1,000 years. Satan will be bound during his 1,000 year reign.
The Lord Jesus Christ must reign until he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power; the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
God the Father has given the Lord Jesus Christ the authority to execute judgment; He committed all judgment unto His Son.
The Lord Jesus Christ will preside over the resurrections. All that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; for the just it will be the resurrection unto life; for the unjust it be the resurrection of damnation.
Whosoever was not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire, and they will die the second death. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. This will be the “telos.”
After this second heaven and earth passes away, there will be a new heaven and a new earth. God will make all things new again, and He will dwell among His people and be their God. Revelation 21 and 22 describe it.
Dearly beloved, rejoice; Christ Jesus the Lord saved us, and he justified us. There is no more condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. We will never again come unto condemnation.
The Lord Jesus Christ delivered us from the wrath to come. We will not go through any of the events pertaining to the Lord's Day. Thank God for His great love, grace, and mercy towards us in Christ Jesus.
Dearly beloved of God, we will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ when he comes to gather us up to him in the air. It will take the Father the coming ages to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
Rejoice! It is Christ in you, the hope of glory! Our hope is of salvation, eternal life, glorious new bodies like Christ's glorious body. We will have rest, fulness of joy, and exceeding riches of God's grace shown to us in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus, Rejoice!
Comfort and encourage one another with these words. Rejoice, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed, dearly beloved of God.
