What is True Christianity?
Dearly beloved of God, God works in the heart of man while religion only works on the flesh. The work of God is by the spirit, while religion is only conformity to rules and regulations pertaining to the flesh.
When a person confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead, he is saved. At that moment he is born of the spirit from God, and becomes a child of God, and gains an entrance into the kingdom of God, and is assured of an inheritance of eternal life. This is true Christianity.
True Christianity is the work of God in Christ. It is not by our works, but by God’s work in Christ. We are saved by grace through believing in Jesus Christ as Lord, and that salvation is not of ourselves, it is the gift of God. We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works so that we can walk in his accomplishments.
Jesus Christ did the work necessary to save and redeem us. He did the work to pay for our sins, forgiveness, and justification. He gave his life so that we could be justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in him.
God resurrected His Son Jesus Christ our Lord from the dead. God made him both Lord and Christ.
Jesus Christ redeemed us from the reign of sin and death. What work could we have possibly done to create eternal life spirit in us? The only way to gain eternal life is by God’s grace to us in Christ.
Dearly beloved, God our Father blessed us in Christ Jesus with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. He completely filled us in Christ with everything that he accomplished. The Father freely gives us all things with Christ.
In Christ, God made us holy, without blame, and unimpeachable in His sight; we are dearly beloved by Him.
Jesus Christ gave us access to the One True and Living God through the spirit of sonship, and He encourages us to draw near to His throne of grace with boldness and confidence so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
If you want to have peace it’s available. Jesus Christ made peace with God for us. If you want joy, fullness of joy lies in the intimacy of fellowship with the Father. It is all ours by the grace of God.
Dearly beloved, religion is only the work of the flesh, and it is concerned with standing approved before men, but true Christianity is the work of God in Christ, and it enables us to stand approved before the Living God. Jesus Christ’s work will make you free indeed, dearly beloved.
Religion only offers false hope based on myths. The hope of Christianity is the return of Christ Jesus our Lord who will physically gather us up unto him unto eternal life.
The Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
It will take God our Father the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Beloved, we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Dearly beloved, religion only puts people in bondage, but Jesus Christ came so that we could have life and have it more abundantly. He will make you free indeed. He did what none of us could have done for ourselves, and he gave it to us freely by grace. This is true Christianity.
