Dearly Beloved

If you are new to this page, you may wonder why I constantly address the readers as “dearly beloved”.

The reason is that is how our heavenly Father refers to His children. If you have confessed Jesus as Lord, and believed that God raised him from the dead, you are saved for eternal life by the grace of God. It is a birth of the spirit of God. From that moment, you are a child of God by the birth from above, His dearly beloved.

The most important truth, and I might add, the greatest secret in the world today, is that the Word of God reveals the Will of God. We can go to the Word of God and learn His Will. We do not have to guess about it, make it up, follow tradition, or anything else for that matter, if we are to know our Father’s Will. He plainly reveals it to us in the Scriptures so that we can know it. You cannot get any closer to God than His Word.

You will find that His Will is only good toward you, never evil, and it does not change. Our Father is light, not darkness. He is a God of deliverance, not bondage; a God of love, not hate; a God of forgiveness, not condemnation: a God of abundance, not lack; a God of health, not sickness. He is a God who supports, supplies, and defends His children. He is the God of truth, not lies, and we can take Him at His Word.

Once a person is born from above, he receives the spirit of sonship. From then on learning about spiritual matters becomes an exciting adventure in living. We are on a path of walking with the Living God, our Father. As we learn, grow, gain confidence and experience in our walk with the power of God in us, we will see things we never before imagined were possible. We have power for abundant living born within us.

Beloved, the good pleasure of His Will is that we know Who He is, and what He has freely given us in Christ. Christ accomplished our salvation and redemption from sin and death. He paid for our sins with his life, and now by the riches of His grace we are forgiven.  Our Father dearly loves us.

When we became a child of God, a new standing came with it. As His child of God we are heirs of God and joint- heirs with Christ. He freely gives us all things with Christ! We stand before God in Christ, clothed in his righteousness without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. We have open access to Him by His spirit, and He encourages us to use it to speak freely with Him. We could go on all day with all He has given us in Christ by His wonderful grace.

Now we can live as “more than a conqueror” in Christ. Whatever comes up in our lives, we now have the resources to overcome. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Our Father is our sufficiency in everything, always. Enjoy walking with Him, dearly beloved of God. We are Christ’s, Christ is God’s, and all things are ours!  We are His dearly beloved saints.
