Salvation and Good Hope through Grace
Dearly beloved of God, God called us to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and belief of the truth to the obtaining of the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. How did He do this? He did it through the revelation of the gospel concerning Christ.
God reveals that the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for the Church of the Grace of God will be “the day of Jesus Christ.”
It will be “the coming of Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together unto him.”
It will be when “the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive, and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
It will be when, “the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Dearly beloved, “our citizenship is in heaven from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body,
according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”
Dearly beloved, "in Whom [Christ] also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory."
Dearly beloved, “you are sealed for the day of redemption.”
We are “to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Which delivered us from the wrath to come.”
It will be when the Church will “obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”
It will be when the Church is “received up in glory.”
It will be when “we acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
It will be “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.”
It will be “the departure” when God removes the restraint. “The day of the Lord cannot be present unless there first comes the departure, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.” We “know what now restrains [him from being revealed] so that in his own time he may be revealed.” “Only that which now restrains it will do so until it is taken out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed.”
God will send His Son to gather together His holy ones (the removal of the restraint) and then the appearance of the lawless one can take place.
God our Father has given us “everlasting consolation and good hope through grace.” “May the Lord guide your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.”
Rejoice, it is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
God our Father wants us to know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
Why not take the time to look up these verses, and then hide them in your heart, and live as though it could be today?
“Now may the God of the hope fill you with all joy and peace in the [right way of] believing so that you may abound in the hope by the power from the Holy Spirit.” Again I say rejoice!
