The Gospel of God
Dearly beloved of God, the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ our Lord is the gospel of the grace of God. That gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes it.
The gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ proclaims the righteousness of God by the believing of Jesus Christ our Lord; he accomplished it and made it available to any and all who believe on him.
God determined that those who believe on him are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
This gospel begins by setting forth the grace of God towards us in Christ, and it sets forth the hope which is laid up for us in heaven in the word of the truth of the gospel.
This gospel instructs us to patiently wait for Jesus Christ to return from heaven to gather us up unto him in the air; both the dead in Christ and the living ones together. When he returns for us we will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ; we will be glorified together with him, dearly beloved.
This gospel did not come out of the mind of man; it came by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
This gospel reveals that there is one body, the body of Christ, and one spirit, the gift of holy spirit received in the new birth, even as we are called in one hope of our calling; one Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ; one right way of believing: believing that comes by hearing the gospel of God concerning Christ; one baptism, the baptism of the holy spirit; one God and Father of all, Who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Dearly beloved of God, the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ our Lord reveals the will of God concerning us.
If any person is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, new things have come, and all of the new things are of God. Rejoice!
There are more new things to come in the future when Christ returns for the Church. The Lord will raise the dead in Christ as incorruptible, and he will change those living to be immortal. He will transfigure us to have glorious bodies like his glorious body, and everlasting life. We will be conformed to the image of God’s Son who is the firstborn among many brethren.
When Christ returns, the suffering we endure today will pale in comparison to the glory that will be revealed to us. It will take God our Father the coming ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
The gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ our Lord gives us a complete picture of his work and accomplishments. It reveals how highly favored and dearly beloved we are in Christ.
How should we respond to this gospel? We are to believe it. We are to live with the love of God as we renew our minds to this gospel, and we are to stand patiently, and faithfully until God’s Son returns to gather us up to him in the air.
God has given us good hope through grace, dearly beloved; rejoice, he could be coming today!
Since no one knows the day, time, or hour that he is coming (not even the Son himself knows), continue to walk with the Father taking Him at His Word, and boldly hold it forth to others so they might believe, also.
